Hello, people. I haven't watched anime besides Pokémon for some months now, maybe a year, and I want to start watching it again. So I come to you asking for good shows to watch, as long as they fit  some criteria. Can you help me, please? <3

- I like:

Dramas like Key-based animes; animes that make you cry

Nonsense comedy as in Nichijou and Asobi Asobase

Anything with a relevant plot and good characters

Romcoms that fit the previous criteria

Psychological horror

- I don't like

Isekai

Sports

Historical

Try Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu

it's a psychological horror, has good characters and story (IMO), it also has some romance, idk about crying, depends on the person, but I'd say it's definitely possible

Saiki Kusuo no Psi-nan  is a great comedy series.

Off the top of my head...

Comedy:

Keep Your Hands off Eizouken

Magical Sempai

Comedy/Drama:

My Roommate is a Cat

I have already watched My roomate is a cat. The other two seem interesting, specially Keep Your Hand off Eizouken.

The best I can give you is Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou, real good comedy.

You may also like Kaguya-sama.

I love Kaguya-sama! I'll be watching the other one soon

Demon Slayer was pretty lit.

Is it good? It looks like a bland shounen

How many episodes are there exactly? MAL says it has 120 episodes on season 1, while Netflix only has 24 (plus 24 on season 2, and 2 on season 3)

24 episodes in season 1, with each episode combining three stories.  There are also 24 episodes in the second season, a long episode for Kanketsu-hen, and a short after-series.

hello everyone, so im just finished watching mikakunin de shinkoukei and looking for series that have similar "feeling". a bit of a backstory, i was an enthusiast anime watcher until i found manga,ln and vn. it's been almost 3 months i've been trying to watch or rewatch anime from highly praised FMA to random stuff like girl und panzer but none of them make me sit still for one episode without trying to skim watching them. and when i was chatting in discord, i found someone use mashiro emote and i just thought i should watch this series. so i did. and its beautiful in my eyes.  i honestly cant explain perfectly what made me hooked into it, clearly not the arranged married setting, nor the high school setting, the romcom genre or the average plot. "Good pacing" is the best i can do. i know it sounded weird but i hope there is someone can relate with this. :badnicoman:

If you don't mind a little gross out humor in the last episode, Are You Lost?/Sonan desu ka? is a pretty good chuckle and each episode is only about 15 minutes.

If you want a slight-yuri SOL comedy Ms Vampire Who Lives in My Neighborhood/Tonari no Kyuuketsuki-san is pretty good too.

Good choice! That anime is such an underrated gem really worth watching for its engaging narrative, lore and character development.

You have fine taste in anime my friend! Aside from Gosick. The Book of Bantora is also a underrated and a anime that is almost unheard of... Its a story of people dying and turning into books instead of dead bodies... Pretty Interesting Story... And when you read someone's book, you'll able to witness someone else's memories.....
