solidbatman Posted April 6, 2015 Author Posted April 6, 2015 I'v been playing with the complete mod, and I'm so glad the shaking is gone...I would have never gotten used to that, but so far the game is somewhat difficult( veteran difficulty), died a number of times, but have been progressing slowly and steadily, the weight system is dragging me down though... When given the option to hoard everything, it is really hard to let it go,lol, but I'm improving now, by only taking the ammunition instead of every single gun. At one point I had no ammo, but by god I had plenty of sub machine guns. On the flip side, I couldn't figure out what was using up so much space in my backpack until I sold a ton of my 9mm ammo. I had so much, it was eating a solid 10kg. Quote

Dude, I had to put some 9mm in the storage, I feel you on that one, it eats up a lot of weight...for now, my backpack is a smg, a AR, a shotgun, and a pistol with ammo, food, medkits, and a couple vodka at around 50 kg ish, how did you manage to run out of ammo? I mainly use my pistol, and if the enemy have smg or better weapons, I rush them and use the double barrel, so far I'v only used my AR against the military, the freaking blockade at the bridge was pissing me off, they would shoot on sight and chuck frags like they had an unlimited supply of them, so I killed them to get rid of the pain of going around them Quote
Stray Cat Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Took a break from Neptunia to play Shadow of the Colossus. I have to say, the controls and camera angles make you feel as helpless as if you were actually there. Quote

I'm decent enough now, so I manage to avoid many fights. Quote

I remember running around with 600ish 7,62×39 mm bullets, since everybody drops them later. I can't wait to hear about your upcoming Agroprom experiences. Quote

That underground area definitely made me jump a lot of times, carefully lurking around in the shadows in order to see if a mutant would jump out. I damn near wasted all of my ammo on that dumb bloodsucker. This and the CNPP are the high points of the game for me cause tight and confined spaces can mean certain death. Quote
sub-zer0 Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 whats a Agromprom? a location? a quest? a monster? I'm not really used to scary games, but I'v played enough metro to stand jump scares...I remember when I first played metro, they would jump on me and I would freak out, hold my lmb until I had to reload...and then they killed me while I was reloading....but now I fire at everything in burst, if burst does not work, then I go auto, though I'v learned that in every FPS besides COD, there is this thing called kickback, and auto does not work at long or even medium distance Quote

Right now, my favorite part has been The big sewer/tunnel system, right as you are near the exit after getting to Sterlock's stash Quote

Turnip Sensei Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 I finally did it! I beat Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin without using shields or magic. But it was way more difficult to do than in Dark Souls 1, since 2 likes to throw hordes of enemies at you. Especially fighting against multiple bosses at same time is frustrating. It doesn't make it necessarily harder, just more time consuming, because you have so few chances to do damage. Some the DLC bosses were super annoying, they have lingering hitboxes and delayed attacks which makes dodging hard. It wasn't all bad, the new enemy placement was refreshing, it brings back some the charm of playing a souls game for the first time. And the winter wonderland DLC was pretty fun. Quote
Kurisu-Chan Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 I bought the normal 32-bit Dark Souls 2, so I'm waiting until the upgrade goes on sale before I get it. Early buyer problems... Also got $40 worth of Steam Wallet cards for Easter, surprisingly, so that's going towards GTA V. Still waiting to see if it's a good port or not before I buy it. 65 gigs. Quote
sarkasmus Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Just bought the PS2 game "Oni" and will play it as soon as I have time again, I have no idea what kind of game that is but I thought the cover looks interesting and 0,50€ for a used version is nothing. Quote
Funyarinpa Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Jesus. I'm gonna have to download for a week, at least. Maybe even two. 1 GB takes me slightly over an hour...I hate my ISP. I am glad I am not hyped for that game because if I tried to download that there would be like only 10 gigs for 4 people to use for a whole month, and that ain't happening It doesn't help that I learned our internet was not unlimited only last month Quote
