I've recently completed the wild ride of Undertale and Jet Set Radio.

Other than that, I'm currently playing Sleeping Dogs as a crazy mascot who sings karaoke and drop kicks people in the streets.

Fates Conquest Hard/Classic is insane. Can't even imagine how pissed i'll get when I try Lunatic

My first FE game and I picked up Birthright. Was playing on Hard/Classic and decided to go to Normal/Classic after stage 3 LOL. I appear to not be so keen at these games.

IIRC there was an Awakening thread, do enough people here have Fates to warrant a new thread for Fates?

Finished the main story of Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon yesterday. It really felt on par with the DS titles, and overall a very entertaining experience. I'm very happy with it.

Still not better than Explorers of the Sky though. That game is a masterpiece in my eyes :wafuu:

I'll try to end the postgame these days, and maybe I'll 100% it eventually.

ultimate ninja storm 3 full burst, already a -1 for having to use a controller for a pc port, I just don't like the concept of having to use a xbox controller when its suppose to be a game on the pc platform, I understand some games its easier to use a controller than mouse+keyboard, but 0 keyboard support is a bit too far.

I finished Disgaea 5 to my satisfaction today. I didn't beat Baal (though I could where I am right now stats-wise, but strategizing is a pain) let alone Carnage Baal, but I did get all the trophies, which is more than I usually do for a Disgaea game. I unceremoniously sealed it away in a container in my closet.

Not sure what I'll pick up next. Tales of Zestiria is likely, but I might pick up Stella Glow again first. I was rather enjoying Stella Glow a while back, but I'm no longer commuting on a bus for ~1.5 hours per work day, so my time that was largely spent on portable games disappeared. I also need to go back and play almost all of the Hebijo storyline for Senran Kagura Burst and then try the later games... so much to do.

@Decay mentioned Stardew Valley in the VNTS update, and it looked relevant to my interests, so I picked it up and spent a few hours with it. It's a Harvest Moon / Rune Factory type of game with an in-game clock and calendar (forcing you to rest at a regular cadence, experience seasons changing, see events happening at scheduled points both on the in-game calendar and the in-game clock, etc.,) and a fatigue level which recharges overnight (somewhat - haven't figured out exactly how much) and by eating (much more straightforward). Stuff you can do includes:

- farming simulation (clear your farm, plant crops, water them, harvest them, so on)

- crafting/cooking (gather materials and make new stuff)

- enhancing stuff (i.e., gather materials and money to buy a bigger house with a kitchen, or to enhance your tools for greater efficiency)

- romancing

- minimal action RPG combat

- fishing

It has some RPG-style progression, e.g., level up your fishing/crafting/whatever, mostly by shipping goods that you acquired from doing those things, and giving pretty sizable benefits like making it more efficient energy-wise for you to use a tool, or making your item sales prices higher.

The graphics are decent-looking pixel art; it's no Chrono Trigger, but it's pretty good. And the music is pleasant.

One interesting aspect is that apparently the entire game was made by literally one guy.

The opening intro was pretty amusing, and apparently sets the stage for an actual storyline. I'm only about 7 days into the game calendar so far, so that storyline hasn't really emerged at all yet; most of my time is spent wandering around doing whatever looks shiniest at the moment. The last couple days have been spent in the mine, where the (again, extremely minimal) combat takes place, especially after I found you can get ore there to improve your tools; so I guess improved tools are the goal I'm working towards at the moment.

As of a few hours in, my only annoyance with the game is my inventory size: I haven't yet raised the cash needed to get a bigger bag (which really isn't much at all; if I'd been focusing on farming more than exploring, I'd easily be there by now), and more than half of my bag alone is taken up with tools, which quickly results in me being unable to pick up loot. Ugh. I should see if I can put some of the tools in the storage I just crafted...

One other thing worth mentioning: the game is extremely new, so there's not a lot of guide-type content out there. This is both a pro and a con, but at the moment mostly a pro: it's been a long time since I played a game with this much opportunity for exploration without any kind of hand-holding, and that's a nice feeling.

Anyway, if you're a Harvest Moon and/or Rune Factory fan, especially for the older Harvest Moon iterations (the last time I played one, it had changed quite a lot), then give this game a shot; I'm enjoying it quite a bit.

Picked up my Pokemon N3DS today and it looks and feels awesome! Came pre-installed with Pokemon Red and Blue, so I decided to play some Blue. I also downloaded the Azure Striker GUNVOLT demo and feel a great urge to buy the game now.

The only issue I have with the N3DS is a mental one. It fits fine in my hand, albeit a little small, and then I downloaded MH4U demo, played some RE: Mercenaries, Azure Striker GUNVOLT, Pokemon, and FE - BR to test out even further. I just can't get over the fact that the screen is smaller than my old XL, and that other people say the New XL is more comfortable. It just feels really different, like a change of pace. I can read everything fine, picture is crisp, so far after 3 hours of various game time I have no complaints about the size or control set up. Just that mental block going "you suuuure you don't want that big one, huh?".

At least you don't have an ORIGINAL 3DS. Shit is torturous to hold.

Lol, scrubs. Clearly you never played on an original Gameboy Brick.  Anything past that is miraculous.

Fuck, Eclipsed, now you make me want to try and find my GBC, GBA, and ODS. We'll have an all out handheld consider war.

Started playing Blade and Soul (EU) It is a F2P game and you can feel it but it's still fun, with the bots and spammers... I wish it was a B2P or P2P well can't do anything about it sadly. And apparently an overzealous localization team have screwed some things up though I'm not exactly knowledgable about it

I've been playing Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright on hard mode (also playing casual although it means nothing as the first time through I simply reload whenever a unit dies and start the map over). I plan to play Conquest next and after that Revelations. Enjoying the game so far even if I'm not fond of multiple localization choices the gameplay is still solid.

I remember someone posting a site that was like MAL except for games, anyone know what I'm talking about?

Bought the full version of Azure Striker GUNVOLT, man is that game fun. Feels really solid to play and the soundtrack is awesome. My only gripe with it as of now is that it doesn't feel like the enemies do enough damage, then all of a sudden the boss goes ham on you. If they upped the overall difficulty that would have fixed any issue I have so far.

Then along side GUNVOLT, I bought Super Mario 3 as I have never played an OG Mario, just the newer ones. The game is aggravating! I have gotten so many game over's in such a short amount of time :conspiracy: It's a ton of fun though, just sitting here all day playing it.

Finally picked up Bravely Second right on the date limit of losing my reservation on it, heh!

I'm still unsure how I feel about it, but there's one thing I already know: I'm very, very, extremely, disappointed that the MC is a pathetic whelp. I utterly hate blank MCs, but oh boy how much I would love to have one here, instead of this bumbling idiot of Yew.

Just met her in the game. What the actual fuck. She's french, and from the moon. And the rebuilding the town system from the first game? It's back, but with the Moon, Magnolia's home xD

This game has me trippin'.

Played more SUPERHOT, I think the A.I gets a bit easy but the modifiers make you forget in the moment. Best game to feel like a badass in.

And Halo 5, still go to game in general. I think I'm around 6 days total play time. Still fun and frustrating at times. Post launch support is superb, Firefight was my favorite mode in ODST. Hope it is fun.

Are you going to play/watch The Answer chapter? (I totally dug it but I know some don't like.)
