Deep Blue Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 cant wait to play fallout 4, playing fallout 3 again for now Quote
Decay Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 The Blighttown swamp can be annoying but the upper area is legitimately one of my favorite parts of the game, but I'm also a freak of nature. It's so incredibly punishing to players who move too quickly or lose awareness of their surroundings. Ambushes behind every corner, dogs charging from unexpected angles, snipers hiding in distant corners picking you off with poison darts that basically kill you in one hit if you don't have the cure and time to use it (or appropriately resistant armor), perilous terrain that can lead to instant death with the wrong step, and a layout that rewards exploration and creative/courageous approaches to problems. A ton of players find it too frustrating, but I think it's pretty much a perfect window into what the Souls series is all about. Quote
Deep Blue Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Blighttown is a good area, specially when you get to know the shortcuts to move around more quickly, the bad thing about blightown was the framerate, it was almost unplayable on some parts (like 10 fps), luckily the pc version doesnt suffer from that. LiquidShu Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Finished all the songs in free mode. Once I clean them on hard I move onto the story. Not sure when the hardest difficulty unlocks but we wills see. IIRC I have about 17% achievements with one play through on normal. I also haven't really spent any cash on accessories yet though. nohman Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Chugging along with Dungeon Travelers 2. As far as dungeon crawling goes, the systems in the game seem very refined. I'm a little bit more conscious than I thought I would be when playing it in public. Quote
Funyarinpa Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 A friend gifted me carts of Metroid Zero Mission and all three Sonic Advance games. The Sonics do not save though, sadly. So I'm playing Metroid Zero Mission and enjoying it a lot. Wish Super Metroid was also on GBA Quote
TexasDice Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 I finally got Max Mad to run properly. I had to change my system's sound format to 16bit 44100hz CD quality to get rid of the audio problems, which resulted in those freezes and crashes. Pretty happy to see what my car evolved into. If something like this is ever deemed okay for actual driving, I'll get me a license. Quote
Funyarinpa Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Beat my first boss in Metroid ZM. Fighting Kraid is so much fun on actual hardware. Quote
Funyarinpa Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 They will if you replace the batteries in the Sonic cartridges. I got a box of them off of Amazon for a few bucks. The carts are probably bootlegs so I don't know which batteries to use. And I am planning on buying a flashcart somewhere down the line anyway, so it isn't that big of a deal. Thanks anyway Quote
G3n3raL86 Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Finished Steins;Gate on Vita a while ago (True Ending). Thank god for the walkthrough:) Now, onwards into KH: Remix 1.5. Quote
Hijiri Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Finished up Ultra Despair Girls and are working on clearing Persona 4 Golden and Shin Hayarigami (Playing while checking a kanji dictionary takes a lot of time...) Quote
kyrt Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 I just got to Novigrad in Witcher 3...dear god I don't see myself finishing this before the dlc is released...which is a shame as I'm looking forward to Hearts of Stone (not Hearthstone) quite a bit just from hearing about a rumored heist and the return of an old character. Anyone here a SCII player? Quote
Deep Blue Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 playing fritz 11 does it count as a video game? Quote

Not sure if you're talking about Star Craft II or Soul Calibur II. I used to be big in Soul Calibur before the series was ruined with a half-finished product and a free-to-play dress-up game. As for Star Craft II I've been periodically playing the campaign for Wings of Liberty but not for some time...I'm assuming you're asking because of Legacy of the Void's recent release? Quote
HotTrax Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Playing some Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5 on the Xbone. Quote

HotTrax Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 I'm sorry for your loss. Admittedly I've never been a huge skating fan so maybe it's not as bad as people have said. I mean, it is a janky mess but I still find it to be playable. I probably am not outraged like some people as I do not hold any affinity towards the THPS series. Also some played some more Destiny. I'm still on vanilla version so it is pretty much a wasteland. I'll probably stop playing it since I don't want to get TTK and the other 2 expansions. Quote
MarZ0rak Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Thief Gold, it took me 40 minutes to beat the first mission. Damn this game is intense I'm only playing on Normal at the moment, I'm considering playing on hard (does it make the game much better?) Quote
Thunderbro Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 I've been playing Shining Resonance. I must say that the music and the art style are very nice. The game play is pretty fun too, but it is definitely it step down from the tales of series. I can't really comment on the story because I have a Japanese copy of the game (and I highly doubt Sega will ever localize this game). Quote
monkeysrumble Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 I've been playing Final Fantasy X remastered on my PS3. I've had it on my shelf for about a year now and decided to play it when I lost my internet. I never knew about the expert sphere grid but I really like it so far. To this day I still think that FFX still has the best turn based combat. Quote
Funyarinpa Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Downloaded Ghost Trick, fixed the DeSMuME slowdown, and this game's GREAT. Quote
Funyarinpa Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Started Ace Attorney as well. It's easy AF. Got spoiled a bit on Ghost Trick ;-; Quote
TexasDice Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Started Ace Attorney as well. It's easy AF. Game 1-Case 5 has a mean trap and Games 2 and 3 are actually really hard. Quote
Deep Blue Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Playing dark souls 1 again gonna try to beat it under 2 hours and also playing SOMA Quote
