Zanoki Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 Right now, I'm working my way through The Guided Fate Paradox and Disgaea D2. When I get bored, I switch to Phantasy Star Online 2 unless I feel like reading a VN. Quote

roninmedia Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 Playing Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale. Got it on during the Steam sale going on. Definitely worth the price. Â Quote
solidbatman Posted December 24, 2013 Author Posted December 24, 2013  Playing Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale. Got it on during the Steam sale going on. Definitely worth the price.   Such a great little game. I'd pay full price for it with no regrets. Quote
Krylan Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 Hmm... I don't know if it's good topic to write it, but I want to inform you, that there is "Left 4 Dead 2" on Steam for free. It will be only for today, so there's not too much time to redeem this. Â Recettear... my brother bought that game some time ago, but I still didn't play in it... I must try finally... I also have to play whole "Final Fantasy" series... I tried first game few times, but always I stopped it... :< Â Recently, I played on DS in "The World Ends With You". This game is great! I really can't stop admiring Square Enix for this game idea. They are just genius. Quote
Silvachief Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 Recettear was a wonderful game, though I never got around to finishing it. Might start Time and Eternity today. Quote
Arturia Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 HMm busy playing Devil May Cry 4..Just love the series as a whole..Great gameplay and story line(To me) xD. Quote
rankendrake Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Trying to complete one campaign run of Omerta, City of Gangsters before the holidays end. Quote
garejei Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 If anyone cares the Valkyria Chronicles 3 English patch was released earlier today. http://vc3translationproject.wordpress.com/ Â On-topic I finished FC3 Blood Dragon a while back. Quote
Forythos Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Got the new Zelda : A Link Between Worlds on 3DS for christmas! Really loving the trip back to the world of my favorite Zelda game. (A Link to the Past) Quote
Mevvrynne Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Playing the Browse the Steam Shop game....I got $80 of Steam credit for Christmas and I have NO idea what I want to get. Quote
Helvinek Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 I downloaded Valkyrie Profile for ps1 and I've been playing it for about a week now. I got the "true end" where Valkyrie realizes she is Platina. Going for the other ending then maybe finish Seraphic Gate mode. Man this is such a good game. Quote
Mevvrynne Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 I recommend checking the Steam flash sale in your region now, as Metro Last Light is on sale for 66% off, it is one of the best looking games released this year, and has incredible gunplay.  Furthermore, I am actually enjoying the grind to get gear in Final Fantasy XIV, because tanking has always been fun for me. InvertMouse Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 Â Playing Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale. Got it on during the Steam sale going on. Definitely worth the price. Â Â Â Oh, that reminds me! I need to check that out. Â I recently finished Brothers: Tale of Two Sons. It's a damn fine game and I recommend it to anyone, especially non-gamers who wonder what games are about. Â Also played through Papers Please. Surprisingly fun XD! I went in assuming it'd be boring but serve a good study piece. Â Finished Zelda on the 3DS a few weeks back. It was a pretty satisfying experience. Quote
Arturia Posted December 29, 2013 Posted December 29, 2013 HMm switching between Dmc4 and Dota2.. Quote
daniel Posted December 29, 2013 Posted December 29, 2013 I picked up Bastion for $2.50 a couple days ago, this is a great little game. I recommend it on its sound track alone! Check it out: Â http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t8cELTdtw6U Quote
Silvachief Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 I picked up Bastion for $2.50 a couple days ago, this is a great little game. I recommend it on its sound track alone! Check it out: Â http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t8cELTdtw6U Â I recommend it based on its narrator alone XD That guy's voice is amazing. Â On another note, Time and Eternity certainly has some flaws but the visuals are very interesting and the gameplay is fun (for now - I can see it getting old). Â I started playing Ys: The Oath In Felghana and am really enjoying it. I'm really glad someone recommended the Ys series to me. Â I also bought myself a 2DS and Pokemon X, so i'll be starting those in the near future Quote
solidbatman Posted January 1, 2014 Author Posted January 1, 2014 Playing Gravity Rush on my brand spanking new Vita. Loving it too. Quote
garejei Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Beat Crimson Shroud on 3DS, doing New Game+ now for the extra scenes and new ending. First playthrough wasn't very challenging so the raised difficulty of NG+ was a welcome change. Goddamn those skeleton archers in Chapter 2. Quote
nohman Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Played episode 1 of TWD: Season 2. Fucking loved it, it compeltely sold me on playing as Clementine. Most badass 10-year old in fiction. The part where Clementine  reminisced and brought up what Lee taught her in episode 3 of season 1 got me all misty eyed.  I hope TWAU episode 2 is next week. I've been quite impatiently waiting for it since mid-november.    Playing Gravity Rush on my brand spanking new Vita. Loving it too.  Very fun game. Quote
solidbatman Posted January 3, 2014 Author Posted January 3, 2014 Now working through Persona 2 Innocent Sin along with Gravity Rush. My New Years Resolution is to finish Persona 2 IS and EP. Quote
shcboomer Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 I'm back to playing some League with friends again. Also picked up some of the games I got from the previous Humble Bundles. Quote
nohman Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Dicked around with MK9 with a friend and replayed a bit of Arkham Origins. Netherrealm fighters aren't my favorite, but MK9 was decent, gory fun. Quote
Forythos Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 I've been playing the Bravely Default demo on 3DS since it came out on the NA e-shop yesterday.  It surpasses my expectations so far, the graphics are gorgoeus, the use of 3D is probably the best I've seen so far(I usualy try it a few times and then turn it off, but for this I kept it on for most of the time I played), the gameplay and system are pretty much a combination of my favorite things. This feels like what FF would have been if it had stuck to the Snes style for the next generation. Quote
solidbatman Posted January 8, 2014 Author Posted January 8, 2014 Still going very strong in Persona 2: IS. Persona 4 Golden came in yesterday and still playing Gravity Rush in non-Persona 2 time. Quote
