solidbatman Posted November 11, 2014 Author Posted November 11, 2014 Ahh Freesia, I re-did an entire 45 minute level just to stop her from dying. My only death was Ted the scout who got tanked pretty bad. Ted did not live through that, but Cherry remained, to tell the legend of his heroic sacrifice to Dallas, my other hapless engineer who also had issues with being shot by tanks. Quote

I just remember Alicia becoming a beat after she gets that killer accuracy skill. I always loved how much personality the characters had. To bad lancers were so awful in the first game. Oh and I'm still playing Sticker Star BTW. It's surprisingly more fun than the first time. Quote
nohman Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Alternating between Fantasy Life, Freedom Wars, and BoI: Rebirth. DA3 and Pokemon this month as well, plus I have my eye on a nexus player. So... bye bye cash. Quote
springning Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Right row I'm playing the Last of Us. Quote
SilverLi Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Europa Universalis 4 in my heart for the past weeks. Well they suck at netcode but damn the game is addicting. At the moment playing a couple of different nations. A colonial muslim power Tunis "Screw you Spain/Portugal", Manchurian "gonna conquer everything" and Sweden "destroy Russia and colonize Sibir while destroying Europe". I am thinking about doing one of the impossible achivements too. Starting as a horde nation (Golden Horde or Mongolia) and conquer China, Persia and Russia (in other words everything in Asia except India, Thailand and Ottomans/Mamluks) and northern Europe. Quote
FruitsPunchSamurai Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Hmmm, tales of hearts r or Freedom Wars? Quote
Carronade Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 Playing Final Fantasy X on my PS3. Didn't remember how easy it was (excluding optional bosses, obviously... never did those.) Quote
JRaiKetchum Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 Currently trodgging through the rest of the trophies to platinum Dynasty Warriors Gundam: Reborn on my PS3! (OH GOD THE REPETITION!!!) Playing Hopeless Masquerade and Scarlet Weather Rhapsody on my PC -Rai Quote
Kurisu-Chan Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 Took a break from BoI: Rebirth and played some Saint's Row IV. There's just so much to do in that game it's ridiculous. Don't forget da dildo! da dildo! Quote

Katatsumuri Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Been playing (too much) Valkyria Chronicles, ever since it launched on steam. Completed it without losing a single soldier, which feels really good. solidbatman and Stray Cat 2 Quote

There's just so many games this month, I know it will be awhile before I'll get into it. Quote

Keaton Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Finally picked up my PS3 controller again after 6 months of not touching it. Started playing through FF 13 again and FF 10. Gotta say i missed playing the final fantasy series quite a bit and it was refreshing to play something i haven't played in a quite a while. Quote
nohman Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Just bought Shadow of Mordor on Steam and started downloading it. It's 34.9 GB >.> It'll take me a full day of downloading to get it, and that's without the download speed fluctuating. I've heard mixed things about it, but I have a friend who swears on the therapeutic quality of mindlessly killing orcs for 20-30 minutes. I'm waiting for a price drop personally. Quote
Funyarinpa Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Well, 35 GB is the second biggest game I've seen after the 42GB of Bioshock Infinite(w/ DLC). Quote
Yatsufusa Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Titanfall had 35 GB of just uncompressed audio files, with a total of 48 GB for the entire game, audio files and all. Not even joking. Flat out ridiculous. They could have used 320kbps encoding and it would sound pretty much the same, unless someone who plays the game is an anal retentive audiophile. I thought it was common knowledge 30-50GB games are going to be the standard for this generation of gaming anyways? Moar graphical/audio fidelity = larger games, and I don't think dev's are going to make compromises just to save space for people who purchase digitally. Quote

Well yeah but Titanfall is just another multiplayer only FPS. People will think those kind of sizes not only contain better audio.... I mean Shadow of Mordor is 35 GB with that much content but Titanfall? Really? Quote

It doesn't particularly stand out much in TF anyways. Quote
Stray Cat Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Well, I beat Sticker Star, completing the museum and unlocking everything. I have to say, I liked it a lot better than what I remember from my first play-though, definitely worth the re-buy. Now time for a nice littler break until Pokemon. Quote

I don't know anything about the quality of the porting job, but it was easily one of my favorite games on the PS3. Can't recomend it enough. Quote
