Good Parent as protagonists or main characters in visual novels.

I heard some VNs with father or mother characters had issue like being abusive, deceased, embarrassing, missing, neglectful, short scene, etc. Looking for VNs which portray them in a good light and screen time is not too short.

This is a weird thing to say, but School Days and Shiny Days paradoxically have a bunch of relevant parent characters that are flawed and sometimes sources of drama but never plain negative. Also f*****, at least in Shiny Days.

For side characters - Clannad perhaps (Nagisa's parents - Akio and Sanae)? And for main - The Language of Love comes to mind.
