Forced Bad End on Dra+Koi

Problem: In the game "Dra+Koi" there seems to be a bug where no matter the choices you pick, it will always force you into the Bad Ending [and kick you back to the menu] even if you were to pick the right choice. That means you're unable to progress any further past a certain point.

Things I've done: Changing the locale back and forth, giving system administer, downloading the game from different links. None worked.

Extra: Previously, one of the fixes people have done were to do something to the script of the game to force it forward past the bad ending, though all the workaround fixes people uploaded have long since expired. And I'm nowhere near clever enough to change the script myself to make it work. I'm aware this game is old and its improbable for a fix to be found, though I'm desperate and hopeful enough to try to ask for help in this forum, any help appreciated. 
(Even if its impossible for me to play the game myself, I'd accept a video playthrough of it, if such thing existed)

its been 3 years but if you do see this, have you managed to find a fix? i have the same problem and ive went over the choices over and over again and its driving me crazy
