Newbie - AdvHD text extraction and repacking

Heeeello everybody! First of all, it's my first post, so if i something up please be gentle

I was trying to fan-translate "Kono Oozora ni, Tsubasa wo Hirogete FLIGHT DIARY" 'cause I wanna play it uncensored. I started looking around and I found 3 GitHub repos that have a lot of tools:

I can't manage to use FuckGalEngine and VNTranslationTools, but chinesize is a gold mine (also 'cause they used a decent naming schema for their files, thank god).
I tried using the files in https://github.com/regomne/chinesize/tree/master/AdvPlayer and, by properly tweaking batch_extract_test.bat, I managed to extract the text files from Rio.arc. Yay!

But now I gotta explain where I need help from you! The thing is, even if I manage to extract the text files from the game's Rio.arc file, the text folder is about half the size of the arc file. I was wondering if I was missing some files from the archive, or do they make the files larger instead of compressing them?

Furthermore, even if I'm able to extract files from the arc file, I have no idea about how to compress them back.

Experienced pervs, please help me! Even if I didn't specify it, I think it looks pretty obvious that it's my first time doing anything like that, so any help/feedback is appreciated!
