Sorry to answer a question with a question, but how are you using your vndb list, the list itself is much smaller than your voting list.

 

And that reminds me, I know I haven't voted on anything yet, but does vndb let you change your vote?  Because the reason I was holding off is because I didn't want to give something a rating that I'd have to change after reading other things...

Yes you can change your vote later,and you can vote to vns that aren't in your list that's why there are voted vns that are not on the list.
