Hello! I’m [Team Leader], on behalf of Fleeting Heartbeat Studios.

We’re a small, multinational team of Katawa Shoujo fans, some disabled and some not, looking to bring in new and existing players who can benefit the most from an improved KS experience.

We’ve created an unofficial port called Katawa Shoujo: Re-Engineered. It offers an exact, one-to-one rebuild of KS with a slew of accessibility options and improvements that simply weren’t possible when KS released. From dyslexia accommodations to high contrast and self-voicing, we’ve got you covered.

For the sake of readability, we've also implemented various features that bring the game up to modern standards- UI scaling for all devices, native high resolution, and other improvements.

The licensing agreement that forbid modifications and HD-patches of Katawa Shoujo has been changed officially! This project is now legitimate!

oh this is neat. KS was my second VN I read i think (after Analogue: A Hate Story). Might have to dive back in ten years later and see if it makes me cringe now or not.

Katawa Shoujo was my entry point to VNs and it's always nice to see that people still care about it. It may not be the "best" VN out there, but you can't deny that it's very special to a lot of people.

Oh this looks really interesting! I remember playing this a long, long time ago. It's been so long I don't remember it too well, and maybe just long enough ago that'd it'd be a great time to replay it in this version! I'm excited for this!
