Having problems with Hadaka Shitsuji

Game Name: Hadaka Shitsuji
Description of Problem: Look at picture below
Your Operating System: Windows 7
64 or 32 bit (link to how to find): 64
What did you already try? I've tried re-installing it, restarting my laptop, running as admin
Did you download your game from Fuwanovel?: Nope, from Aarinfantasy

 

Here's the problem I'm having:

 

 

The game won't open at all for me, all I'm getting is that error. I've tried everything. Help?

It says something like "reading configure file failed". Are the files marked Read Only and/or is it still being seeded by a torrent client?

Nope, they are not marked as read only. I just checked.

And no, it's not being seeded since I downloaded it off Aarinfantasy.

I really can't figure out what's wrong.

Is the version you downloaded from Aarinfantasy pre-installed/pre-patched or did you manually install it?

 

Also delete the SaveData folder and hadaka.env file so the game will generate new configuration files.

When I downloaded it and extracted the files, it already came with the patch.
