How Otaku is Your Room?

I'm afraid I don't have anything in my room, no Otaku here. I just would find it troublesome to buy all that stuff and I don't really have a job right now. Besides I would only get things that I'm really intrested in and would love to have. I should really plan to get a few things that way I can at least have something to show for. If you guys have some suggestions or cool otaku stuff that you think I would like to have a look at please say so.

I would love to have some otaku things in my room but sadly i share a dorm with a roommate. It's awkward having otaku stuff with someone who knows nothing about it.

I feel like the most I would ever have is maybe a poster or something.  Then again, I'm not much of a decorator in general...I basically have bare white walls and random junk cluttering all my shelves.

I've just got a wall poster of Hatsune Miku and a shelf for manga, nothing much... I wish my economy would permit making my apartment more otaku-homely but I'm a student.

My waifu has finaly arrived! >_>;;  Given how much it's worth(12000Yen on Mandarake) and the possible rise in value, I don't think I will ever dare to sleep with it, I'll just keep it in the plastic except to take a look at it and post pictures on the internet. (I will post full pics on MFC later and share the link.)  It is much more impressive in person than I expected though.

Regrettably, the level of Otaku in my room is around 0. Only stuff that might come close is a poster of Gimli as well as some WH40K RP games. If only I had a room like this.

My room is more like an eletronic shop, various game consoles, dont have ps4 and xone, a big pc case and a 55" sony bravia tv, never was much fan os posters and stuff.

Yes, and is has to be the softest pillow cover I have ever touched, the quality is very impressive!  I never thougth I'd actualy buy one of those until last month though.

 

Also, I haven't shown my collection to a lot of people IRL, only a few friends who just laugh it off and are impressed at how sexy some of the girls are.  My mom has a huge frog collection herself, so she wouldn't have much to say in the matter if she happened to see them when she comes over. lol

Im looking to get myself a Dakimakura xD. but unfortunately not sure where i could order the pillow for one..anyone know where i could order one online? for a size 150x50?

AmiAmi has stuff.  I'd imagine the Cospa hugging pillows would be best.  Those seem to be out of stock, though.

If I had to buy online, I'd get it from AmiAmi.  I'd highly recommend just making one yourself, though.

Getting the actual pillow is definitely the worst part.  Guh.

Hmm thanks ill take a look..I plan to get the cover from Amazon but i couldnt really find the pillow and the ones that i could are a little out of my range right now, but i plan to look at those links and if they worse, then i will get from amazon...Thanks.

Not sure about the availability in your area, but I got mine at Wal-Mart for around 12$.  It's a little shorter than the real ones from Cospa, but still looks and hugs very nice.

Exactly how shorter, Forythos?  I visited several stores and the biggest I found was still too short.  I don't remember by how much, but it was significant enough that I wouldn't settle for it.

51x122 cm, the only part that's not filled in is her feet, which I just fold underneath.  They had longer ones at Sears, but to save 40$ it still does a fine job for what little use it has. (Money that went towards my anime collection instead!)

My homemade one is ~5cm too short and that irates me.

Though mine gets significant use.
