Chaos;Head problem (SOLVED)

Hi,

So I just downloaded Chaod;Head a few hours ago on Fuwanovel with no problems. When I tried to start the game it ran smoothly but then I soon ran into a problem. The beginning of the opening worked fine, but the second half where the "animation" comes in the screen goes completely black and all I get is the audio. Help?

 

I'm using windows XP 32 bit, and my locale is set to Japanese.

 

I've played VNs like this one before with no problems (steins;gate) so I don't really know what to do. I've tried reinstalling but that didn't work.

I've had the same problem on my netbook, and after trying to update my graphics drivers the only solution I found was to play on my desktop which is more powerful. :/
