Luch Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 What is the output you get when you write NET SESSION to cmd as an administrator? Quote
Lukany Posted November 28, 2013 Author Posted November 28, 2013 Well... The command isn't working at all... As well as a bunch of other commands like 'help', at first I though it was because the \ are being replaced by yen symbols, but after I resolved that... It still doens't work... Is that it? Quote
Luch Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 Yes, something is broken. What does the command PATH give you? Quote
Lukany Posted November 28, 2013 Author Posted November 28, 2013 Oh! I alrealdy managed to figure it out! ^^ I searched around and found something about system variables... It told me to change back to C:\windows\windows32 And everything went back to normal! Here is the steps if anyone is having the same problem: 1. Click on Start 2. Right click on Computer 3. Click on Properties 4. Click on Advanced System Settings 5. Click on Environment Variables 6. Under System variables scroll down until you see Path Change to: C:\Windows\System32\ Oh, and thanks anyway for the help, if you didn't ask me to check the NET SESSION command, I would never have figured something was broken... Luch Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 Very good. Just a note: You shouldn't replace everything in the PATH variable but instead you should use ; as a separator and add the new path after the already existing entries. REtransInternational 1 Quote
REtransInternational Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 Just a note: You shouldn't replace everything in the PATH variable but instead you should use ; as a separator and add the new path after the already existing entries. This is very important - many programs may not work if the system path is wrong. The default is apparently something like%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem Luch 1 Quote
