Zucco Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works. Well... maybe it's not the worst, but given how good this route is in the VN it's definitly the most disappointing. Naruto filler seasons where also pretty bad. Quote
RiKanna Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Romeo x Juliet. It was a standard romance-fantasy, the problem was that I was expecting and adaptation of Shakespeare's tragedy. Quote
seventhfonist425 Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Worst anime I've ever seen...? Uhh, I guess Fate Stay Night? Maybe? I didn't finish it, so I didn't like it as much as the VN, that's for sure. I seen too much anime recently, so I'd have to go with that. Quote
vibrantblade Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Im really careful on the shows that i watch...so i enjoy the vast majority of them. But the one i didnt like the most was H20: Footprints in the Sand. Had so much potential, but it fell flat due to some scenes/episodes. Quote
HackaFreak Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Infinite Stratos. Gosh. That show. I generally won't watch something that I don't like or is bad, but Houki. Not sure if it was worth it. I tried watching the second season for more Houki, but it felt even worse and I just absolutely hated the new girl. Quote
YuriAxl Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Without doubts was Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kira. What the hell was that? They managed to do that no sense crap from a "serious" and so well made scenario that was the main series. The last episode was almost a "meh". The other three was below that. *Fight the lies of solidbatman and stand for the truth* Quote
cloudy12 Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Zero no Tsukaima; couldn't really stand any of the characters and the "plot" was just... Quote
nohman Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Oh goodness, I don't watch hardly any anime and those that I do watch are the ones that come highly recommended. I also don't wanna go with any funimation type stuff from my childhood, so I'll go with Soul Eater. Quote
LuxÆterna Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Not bad in the sense of a lack of quality but, I choose Suzumiya Haruhi no Yūutsu Season 2, not so much because of what they did in the animation (and changed a bit the artstyle), but what they did to me, because they broke my heart week...after week...after week...after week... after week...after week...after week... They had their reasons to do what they did (the source material and the upcoming movie), but being enamoured from the first batch of chapters and the lightnovels, it was like...like...I don't have a proper word, but it was hard. *fights against solidbatman and his lies with truth* Quote
themosesman Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Texhnolyze. It had no talking for the first 5 or so episodes and was just a really confusing mess. There seemed no point to the show. It was trying to be so deep and edgy but miserable failed and was just a poorly paced wreck. Quote
shcboomer Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Worst anime is hard, but I'll go with School Days here. Quote
Flutterz Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 I'm gonna make heads explode and say Madoka Magica. I've only watched the first episode if I remember correctly, and not only did the story not hook me, but for whatever reason I can't stand the art. Maybe I'd love it if I kept watching, but I didn't. *fights batman* Quote
Vemocleus Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 You know, School days instantly floats to the surface, but it does what it does SO WELL... The worst kind of show is probably one that just doesn't leave any impression whatsoever. Stuff like Busou Shinki I remember actually completing last year, or Maken ki. So I'll just say those. *Throws a combustible lemon at Bat* Quote
Piro Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 I would have to probably say Infinite Stratos 2. First one was good but then shouldn't Ichika be getting stronger in the second series? He always have to rely on everyone else to help him. I finished it but that's the only thing bothering me. :\ Quote
Goldie-Chan Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 For me, I'd have to say This Beatiful Yet Ugly World. Most of the episodes came off as really bland to me and I the ending was really my cup of tea. I wasn't the worst anime ever, I personaily didn't like it. Serves me right for looking at Netflix's small anime library and expecting greatness. Quote
MottainaiVN Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 probably wanna be the strongest in the world. first minutes of the anime is nothing but ecchi Quote
Katatsumuri Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 I'd say Oreimo, since it is the only anime I've dropped. It was A ) predictable. B ) cringe comedy all over the place, And C ) annoying characters (mostly Kirino) Quote
akose Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Probably "Haiyore! Nyaruko-san" - was expecting more Lovecraftian horrors and episodes more like those in the OVA but ended up with just everyone loving the main character for no reason. Quote
EruwaYuril Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 I think I will go with the Tales of adaptations (except Abyss). They pretty much suck because they are extremely short, which means they don't even use all the content they could be using. I mean, why make movies/OVAs when you can have a great 26 episodes TV animation? Abyss was pretty good imo because it had a lot of events from the game. Another option would be Rio: Rainbow Gate. I like casino games and all that but if I remember correctly (didn't finish it), it was mostly focused in fanservice and miraculous magic powers-like stuff. I didn't find it interesting.*Slaps batman with a white glove* Quote
SieghartXx Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 I was going to say Guilty Crown, because I hated that ending... But, I remember a worse one: Kage Kara Mamoru. This has such a bull**it ending! x_x as a side note, To Love Ru is horrible by itself D; Quote
suikashoujo Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 I'll go with Attack on Titan for this one. I had a lot of friends tell me to watch it, and the Internet wouldn't shut up about it,so I tried watching a bit of it. Never again. Not since I got sick of Bleach have I wished so hard for a mainstream pile of garbage to fade out of existence. I get how some people might like it for the action scenes and whatnot, but I need my "deep story lines and characters" (that people rave about) to have a bit more depth than a kiddie pool. Kanpachi Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 I really disliked FLCL. I won the first volume of it and other titles in a competition, but after watching the first volume I had no desire to continue. It was too strange for my tastes, maybe I just didn't give it enough time. Quote
cryofrzd Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Oh, worst anime I've actually watched. This is getting quite tricky as I often watch the first episode of many shows just to find out what to follow, hence I probably won't remember the absolutely worst one. I've made my research and chosen the absolutely worst one I've ever looked at: Eiken. It was just unnaturally-large breast involved in fanservice 24/7. It's its own parody, dropped after 5 minutes, described in one word it's hideous. It may even be the reason I'm lolicon I'm afraid. Quote
MellowMadman11 Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 I don't usually watch shows I don't think i'll like but, Desert Punk. Couldn't get into it at all, I even tried really hard to enjoy it but just could not. If we are going to fight it has to be on the roof in the rain. Quote
