Buying a download version of Umineko and patching it with UmiTweak?

Heya, I'd like to purchase + download a (legal) Umineko VN to run on Windows, but I'd intend to subsequently patch it into English language and ideally patch it with art by Alchemist through the UmiTweak project. Is this all possible, or are some of these mutually exclusive aims (I don't know whether UmiTweak is for PC versions or game console ROMs, for a start)? I'm unfamiliar with how many Umineko VNs exist and what is the best way to go about this/what my options are.

 

Yes, I realise the irony of using UmiTweak on a legal copy. Thanks for any help.

 

Edit: torrents are somewhat monitored in my country, so I prefer to get anything I can legitimately, or - where it is not released legitimately - by DDL.

Nothing wrong with wanting to support companies by buying a legal copy and (in case of physical ones) having something to put in a shelf.

You can buy it from Mangagamer and download it from there. I am guessing it's highly unlikely that they use torrents...

 

I don't see a problem with patching it afterwards. Should work fine. Though I haven't really tried it.

Oh wow, this site is incredible! English and French localisations and everything... and Umineko is right on the front page. Oh my, oh my, thank you!

 

Does this look like the correct edition of the game to apply the UmiTweak PS3 patch to? I don't know how many releases there are, but it looks like the right one to my eyes...
