Grisaia no Kajitsu launch issues

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forums.

 

I had Grisaia working fine after I initially installed it a bit over a week ago, but after logging onto my PC a few days later I found the application wouldn't launch. I have changed my system locale to Japanese and done everything else the pinned game issues topic instructed.

After trying to open the .exe shortcut the Grisaia process starts, and ends itself after roughly 6 seconds or so.

Any help would be majorly appreciated, thanks. 

 

Edit: Forgot to mention, when I first downloaded GnK it worked flawlessly and my non-unicode wasn't even set to Japanese, perhaps that messed it up somehow?

I believe you should be using bootmenu.exe and click the second option c; In case you were trying to use Grisaia.exe

Sadly I had already tried this, no success

I know this is an old post but i have the same problem and i cant find a fix. help anyone?
