VNR help needed.

I DON't KNOW WHYY but , VNR was working for me ytd >.> and now it cant startup

WIth the Error message:

FIle does not exist bla bla bla ntleac.exe

Tried redownloading thru command prompt,website, and stuff, to no avail

I think cryofrzd volunteered to assist with matters like this, since he has experience with text hookers.

Try rebooting/relogging computer or quit/force-quit python environment, VNR runs on python-environment that sometimes goes in some sort of deadlock, has happened for me.

Also run the updator update.exe that comes with VNR.

Check attributes for "Visual Novel Reader.exe" (right click -> properties) that it's not read-only.

If anyone still has this problem, here's the solution:
Stop running old visual novel tools like Translation Aggregator, ITH and etc... whenever you run VN reader. For some reason, it's hooking feature collides with VNreader.

Plus do not run VNREADER in Administrator mode.

 

Disable NTLEA in the settings. 

Click the preferences icon in the spring board (The silver gears)

In the right sidebar click Launch (The one below Font menu)
Click the "Launch the game WITHOUT loader" radio button

Close and restart VNREADER.
