.. .. .. .. That OP is noise! Okay, all OPs are actually noise, but that and Death Note OP 2 IMO are the worst OPs I've ever heard! Though, everyone has different tastes I understand.

Both Haiyore Nyaruko-san and Haiyore Nyaruko-san W's OP are far more amazing than the anime. This has been mentioned before, I know, but really. The OPs for those are SO amazing I can't even get tired of them

 

It really is a shame. Sometimes I would keep rewinding back to the OP just because I wanted to watch that more than the actual anime. Even more so for the 2nd season (seeing how the anime actually managed to get worse in the sequel). It did have some fun moments at least, but not enough to pull it above average for me.

 

And yeah, Gochuumon's OP is adorable. :3

 

Has anyone heard Eureka Seven's 4th OP? This is one of the OPs that started my love for Japanese music.

I don't know if I can call it a favorite, but I think that Sidonia no Kishi's OP fits the show quite well, and I don't skip it all the time like I do with most shows.

 

Couldn't find the actual opening video, but here's the song with a pretty boring video by the group that wrote it.

I have an entire favorite OP and ED video list. I'm making a new one when the next season of anime starts.




I only use 1 OP or ED from a series, and I have a general rule that I've seen at least 1/4th of the anime that has that OP/ED to include it in my list. There's 1 exception in the OP list (Rainbow), but that's to stop me from adding an OP that I heard on Youtube or something. and to show off how much I watched considering I'm a newer anime fan

All I can say is keeping to the theme of OP/EDs that were undeserved by their respective series:  Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi's ED - Utsusemi, by Akiko Shikata.  Of course, I might be slightly biased -- I've been in love with her voice since introduced to it in the first Ar Tonelico.

Damn, after reading the manga I re-watched this op, and yeah, it is more of an orgasm than I thought, not only the visuals and the sound, but the lyrics suit the story perfectly, it even quotes some things.
