Uncensore Patch is out!!!

And STOP! Give me a moment before celebrating or judging me.

So, first thing first... patch is shit. Like, really shit. Basically not ready and I even recommend to NOT use it at all for now. Why? Before we get to that, I want to say that an uncensor patch was in my head from day one I decided to pick up this project. That's good news... bad news is that I don't have skills to do it. I am barley average at photoshop. I can clean some stuff and put text on top of it, but I don't know how to draw. So cleaning censor is no problem for me but to draw a real "thing\s" on top is just beyond me. I really tried but after couple of weeks of work this is all I could accomplish:

Don't beat me! I know it's horrible!

I don't have money to hire someone to do it, so I tried to use "magic" (or how a most people call it "AI"). After another couple of weeks to try to find something free and usable (I am a complete noob with AI) I was able to make... something. I repeat, patch is shit... but Im still working on it.

So what are the results of AI decensor? Well, there are couple which look pretty decent:

So, yea... this is basically just an announcement that I'm trying to remove shit mosaics from good game so we gooners can enjoy it in full. If someone wants to help in any way, please. If you know a good and simple way\program to do it, I'm all ears. You know a good Ai (free please) which can do a decent job and after it just needs some photoshop adjustments, that also OK.

Cool, I'm interested but how do i buy and download the game? also do i need to change my computer to japanese to launch it?

I have the physical version, but as far as I know, the download version was only released through DMM, sadly.

And as far as I know you dont need japanese local to play it (but if you do, Locale Emulator is your bro).

If you want to buy the game you can look here for all kind of shop links and types of game. If you want to download game for free... Jack Sparrow will help you (I can leave you a link with one if you want). I dont use japanese locale (not even Locale Emulator) to play the game so Im positive you dont need it too.

a link would be fine, I kept trying to use the download link at vndb but since the only one is at DMM I've resolved myself to not buying unless I could get a free vpn running, but I can always buy a physical version after to support after. thx

okay, my computer downloaded the demo weirdly so maybe it was that instead

I believe you can get it on Getchu, but please do double-check that this is the right version.

You could also find it second-hand elsewhere.

If you haven't imported before, I'd suggest giving this article a read for information around things to look out for, even if you don't end up using that particular service. It's what I use for a lot of VN imports though.

Houjou is one of several continuations of the game that were tacked on later, adding more story, more characters, and more battles.  I stopped after Houjou, but there were two more I think after that...

So its a continuation of the main story within the same game?

Yes.  However, it needs to be said that the main conflict - the origin of the conflict - has already been resolved and most of it is the protagonist and his companions putting out fires while adding to his harem and bringing peace to Sengoku era Japan in the process.  

Edit: I should also note that this series/game does a lot better with the harem aspect than in Shin Koihime, where it was pretty all over the place.  The sheer number of heroines beggars belief, but most of them leave a strong enough impression that you remember them afterward, which is better than Shin Koihime, lol.

So, first Sengoku Koihime game had only Main Story.

Sengoku Koihime X is sorta remaster of original game with:

• Some story changes (ending in my opinion is better then original). Changes are minor and not noteworthy, but because of some new characters ending was changed (and in a lot better way in my opinion) even though it stays basically the same.
• H scenes for all heroines.
• Separate side\sequel story after Main Story (which is Houjou ark).

And as Clephas already said, there are already a couple of games which continue the story but I believe they go same way as Houjou ark.

As for percentage of the game already translated... well there is still left all interludes for 12 chapters, Houjou ark - 8 chapters - and interludes in this 8 chapters. After I will start helping vercere with editing (especially H scenes, right now they look horrible).
