Kirashi Posted December 1, 2024 Posted December 1, 2024 I played Kotori and Azusa's route some years ago, the VN was great but my heart couldn't bear a third route so I stopped. I finally played Yumi's route last month but I won't have the strenght to play Iyo's route because I am too sensible regarding those kind of situation. I also read some comments when I played for the first time that people felt bad for Kotori in Iyo's route. That's why I would appreciate if someone could tell me me what happen (in detail if possible) so that I can finally move foward and not regretting leaving one last route behind. Thank you guys in advance. Quote
alexfang452 Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 (edited) Okay. I'll put it in spoilers in case someone comes across this thread. I'll try to say as much as possible. It has been a while since I have read this VN. Spoiler The plot of Iyo's route is pretty much the same as Kotori's aside from a few 18+ scenes, a few unique conversations, and one scene near the end where Kotori realizes that Makoto has fallen in love with another woman. Throughout this route, there are a few scenes where Kotori is slowly figuring out that Makoto and Iyo are a thing. At some point, Kotori leaves after hearing Iyo talk to Makoto about how unfair it is that he will not talk to Kotori about her feelings for him. Near the end of the route, Kotori and Iyo talk. Kotori says that she figured out everything and will be leaving without saying goodbye to Makoto. She believes that she will change her mind about her decision if she hears his voice. After saying goodbye to Iyo and telling her to tell Makoto that she had fun, Kotori disappears. Before the credits roll, it is revealed that Makoto heard Iyo's conversation with Kotori. Iyo comforts him and says that she will always be by his side, ending the route. The post-credits scene shows you that Kotori has reincarnated as a dog that Makoto takes to his home. Kirashi Posted December 5, 2024 Author Posted December 5, 2024 (edited) Why was Makoto keeping his distance from Kotori? I mean, he did it, in the other routes as well but not enoughto make Kotori inconfortable. Edited December 5, 2024 by Kirashi Quote
alexfang452 Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 (edited) From what I saw in a walkthrough on Youtube (it has been over a year since I read this VN), Makoto wanted to maintain the status quo. Kotori confessed to Makoto after he confessed his feelings to Iyo. As stated in my earlier comment, Kotori overheard Iyo's conversation with Makoto. The next day, Kotori was gone and did not return until near the end of the route. I'm not sure if that answers your question. Edited December 6, 2024 by alexfang452 added an extra sentence Quote

Makoto most of the time acted like a wimp toward Kotori but that's a bit forced in this route. Thank you, it would have been bad for my heart to play this route Quote
