Mizore Man Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Nendoroids are always fun to have and relatively on the low-end of the price line (Usually under $50 unless you are looking for that rare nendoroid from a popular series that was made over a year ago). I don't necessarily collect figures but I own 3 nendoroids from series that I like. Just make sure to get the authentic ones and not the cheap knock-offs from China. This is my favorite of the ones I own: http://www.goodsmile.info/en/product/3229/Nendoroid+Elsie.html I also own: http://www.goodsmile.info/en/product/2623/Nendoroid+Canaan.html And: http://www.goodsmile.info/en/product/3791/Nendoroid+Houki+Shinonono.html Quote

silverpikachu99 Posted January 24, 2014 Author Posted January 24, 2014 http://www.amiami.com sells the most massive anime figures out of all the websites I visit..However, everything is ran by pre-orders and once sold out, they're gone (Unless they're in high demand and restock). Oh ok, thanks Quote
threepwood007 Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 With figures, I think the important thing is to make sure that you definitely, super-duper, really really want it. If you're a fan of the anime/manga/game that the figure is from and you've got the spending money, then definitely go for it. Figures can be pricey, but it can be worth it if you want to collect something from your favorite franchise. The most expensive figure I have is probably under $70, and most are cheaper than that. If you're a con-goer, tons of shops have lil' figs that are still really nice, some of them majorly obscure (I managed to snag Touno Akiha from Tsukihime at Otakon last year for $10). All the sites above are great; if you can find something cheap on rightstuf.com or even Amazon, don't hesitate! Quote
RusAnon Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 If you want them cheap, you have to preorder, and its hard to recommend something in particular because all stuff I already have is sold out at cheap stores. Just look through http://slist.amiami.com/top/search/list2?s_cate2=459&s_preorderitem=1&pagemax=20 and see if anything catches your attention. 100 JPY = 1 USD for fast conversion. The most expensive figure I have is probably under $70, and most are cheaper than that. Yeah, most expensive I got is http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?scode=FIG-DOL-5579 and its already BJD doll rather than figurine. BJD dolls can cost much more (up to thousands of USD), but figurines I buy are usually around 3000-5000JPY Quote
