krane2.0 Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Excuse me gamers, I've read the First game years ago, and have forgotten most about the Story, ending, and all its Details, I wanna continue playing the series from the Second game, But I don't have as much free time as I used to, so I'm really not in the Mood to re-read the First game all over again, especially Navigating all of the Horrific Pitfall Endings to learn the details about the story, and get to the True one. So as someone who finished the trilogy, Is it safe for me to start From the Second game? Or is there a good Story summary video or Thread that I could watch/read to refresh my memory about all the events of the first game so I can immediately jump into the second one? Quote
Silvz Posted January 24 Posted January 24 I strongly suggest you read at least the normal and true endings. The new version by Shiravune also adds a prologue to the story that was not part of MG's release, which is a bonus. The game is way too short if you focus on the main plot, and it will have many consequences in the second game. If you don't want to go through it again, you should at least know what happens close to the end of the game (Stella's character arc, the truth about the second case - who was the killer, their reasons and how this plot point ended), as well as the whole Kuchiki family situation. You don't need to play the bad endings, as they are more relevant to the first case, but in order to get to the true ending, you need to go through, I believe, at least one credits roll. The second game does mention some things that happened in the first, but since you're playing two games already, another shorter one won't be an issue. Quote
krane2.0 Posted January 26 Author Posted January 26 Thanks for the Info, But again a 15 hours VN May not be much for a Veteran, but again as I don't have much time as used to this stuff takes too long just for me to Jog my memory of what happened, tho I've found an Anime Version of the first game which only have 2 episodes and are 27 min long each one, and would like to ask if you have watched it and if that would suffice or not Quote
