Tom Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 (edited) Must contain: - Sexual content - Confident protagonist Anything else is fine would appreciate it alot. ; ) Edited February 2, 2014 by Tom Quote
TacticalBacon Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 - Sexual content - Confident protagonist definitely Grisaia no Kajitsu. Rewrite was also pretty good, but it doesn't have sexual content. Tom 1 Quote
Tom Posted January 24, 2014 Author Posted January 24, 2014 ah, im reading that atm, saw Grisaia and Hoshizora being very popular and checked them out 1st Quote
cryofrzd Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Grisaia fulfils all the requirements except a lot of choices. But hey you can't get everything, the story and comedy is awesome! Tom 1 Quote
shcboomer Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Give G-Senjou no Maou a shot. I'd say he is pretty confident. Tom 1 Quote
Albedo Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Sharin no Kuni, YU-NO or Kara no Shoujo. Tom 1 Quote
Zalor Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 I recommend Yume Miru Kusuri. The main protagonist actually has a personality, and is fairly confident. There is also a fair amount of sexual content, (not too much, not too little). And best of all, the characters and story is quite well done. I don't exactly know what defines, " alot of choices and routes". But in my opinion, Yume Miru Kusuri had a decent amount of choices. Also there are only 3 routes, but they are quite well done and each one represents a theme. One girl's route explores interpersonal relationships, another girl's route explores how drugs effect people, and the third as well as my favorite route explores bullying. The girl whose route explores interpersonal relationships, (Mizuki's route) has the most sexual content. Tom 1 Quote
BookwormOtaku Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Chain The Lost Footprints fits everything but the route requirement since it's a linear story, but a very good one. Plus it's only 15 bucks. Tom 1 Quote
Alucard Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Now if you take out the first exclusion and second request does the list change significantly? Quote
Tom Posted January 24, 2014 Author Posted January 24, 2014 Now if you take out the first exclusion and second request does the list change significantly? i took out the exclusions cuz its not a significant matter to me whether it has it or not. if the VN is great with those 2 Must haves then im fine with it Quote
Alucard Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Actually I meant if you took out the confident protagonist and the thing about fantasy/magic/sci-fi Quote
Tom Posted January 24, 2014 Author Posted January 24, 2014 Actually I meant if you took out the confident protagonist and the thing about fantasy/magic/sci-fi i dont think so; i myself am very confident and cant rlly associate to a protagonist thats different in that department but yea sure, it can be fantasy/Sci-Fi too, i justt dont like it that much, will still read though if it good enough for me Quote
Alucard Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 I'm sorry I think there is a bit of a miscommunication between what we are both getting at. I'm wondering if the list of recommendations would look that different as in do those stipulations make any difference whatsoever Quote
Flutterz Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Seconding Grisaia no Kajitsu, Sharin no Kuni and G-Senjou no Maou. You might also enjoy Deardrops, although the protag isn't as great as the ones from the other 3 games, as far as I remember. Quote
Tom Posted January 24, 2014 Author Posted January 24, 2014 alright thank you all. thats quite alot of material for the beginning. keep em coming though, ill check them all Quote
ShaunVMA Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 I second YU-NO and Kara No Shoujo. These two should be mentioned more. Quote
Albedo Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Regarding YU-NO, forgot about the no sci-fi/fantasy part, but it's really good Quote
Tom Posted January 24, 2014 Author Posted January 24, 2014 Regarding YU-NO, forgot about the no sci-fi/fantasy part, but it's really good like i said, im fine with sci-fi or magic if everything else is very good Quote
