OriginalRen Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Not sure how many people in the community enjoy VN/video game OSTs, but I am definitely a fan of 8-bit remixes and the like. A friend of mine (DJ name: AdhesiveWombat) mixes video game style tunes and I think they are pretty awesome. Would love to hear what you guys think. Here are 3 tunes. Nightshade is probably my favorite, but I like them all. It's sort of a hit or miss with this style of music, so hopefully it's enjoyable. Friend is always looking for feedback. Star Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 They sounded good! I find it quite fun doing digital sequencing, even more-so for 8bit/chiptone/nintendocore I personally can spend hours in Pro tools and Ableton on 8-bit sounds there's also a standalone program that turns midi files into 8bit called GXSCC: http://www.geocities.co.jp/SiliconValley-SanJose/8700/P/GXSCCB236/indexE.htm if you wanted to see how a random song sounded in 8-bit Quote
