Chaos;Head "All Ages" ?

Godamn Fuwanovel , Please change this VN's rating from "all Ages" to something different, this certainly is for older people. The last few chapters contains some pretty fucked up shit, that ranks pretty highly up there in my "disturbometer" K?

Fuwanovel only differentiates between "All-ages" and "18+" solely based on whether there is sexual content or not. Even vndb lists it as 15+, and in my opinion if you're under 15 and reading visual novels, you've either picked the wrong hobby, or you won't be bothered by the things you see.

And C;H wasn't even that disturbing, but that might just be me.

well, i'm not here to potentially spoil anything. but there was a certain scene, in which if it was animated would certainly be rated 18 plus. i just find it a bit silly how their ratings are dictated by sexual content. 15+ is a pretty respectable rating for it. certainly not all ages. certainly not.

 

im gonna say right this, i am a fan of C;H, like i really like it. but all ages is a pretty broad statement.

 

ps. is Steins gate really better than chaos head. cause im almost done and i have never watched the anime.

as well is the chaos head anime really  "that bad" ?

Whether you're a fan or not is irrelevant. It doesn't have any porn therefore its all age.

Also Chaos;Head has been animated and wasn't given an 18+ rating.

Adding arbitrary age limitations seems a bit silly to me, what one person is fine with at 14 can be disturbing to another at 22. But knowing if something has sexual content in it is useful, because the last thing you want to do is be playing a VN in public and have it suddenly throw porn at you.

I know which scene you mean, and it was a bit disturbing, but first of all it was text only iirc and second of all there are some far more disturbing things in other VNs.

I didn't like C;H too much, it started out interesting but went downhill. Steins;Gate on the other hand is one of my favourite VNs.

As for the anime, I've heard that it's really bad, so avoid it unless you're just curious for whatever reason.

yes beato, Chaos;Head has been animated but from what i have heard alot of it was cut out and replaced by filler.

 

i disagree about it going downhill though, i feel as it reaches the end it only builds.

 

hoh Bud. the fact that that scene was only text+ voice made it even better , because i could use my imagination. And my imagination is what makes scenes like that all the more disturbing. i suppose having an active imagination , like i do , makes all of the surreal "mindfuck" aspects of this particular VN so intriguing to me
