Seiya Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 I've only seen this issue mentioned twice on the internet with no solution (but to re-download the game, which worked for one person but not for me). Are you running your computer with Japan system locale?: Yes Game Name: DRAMAtical Murder Description of Problem: When Aoba boots up the mysteriously-downloaded RPG in his room, a blank Coil screen comes up and nothing happens. The game isn't frozen; it just doesn't progress. I can still access menus, save, reload, and quit. There's a little static background animation that never ends. Your Operating System: Windows 7 64 or 32 bit: 64 What did you already try?: Run as administrator; change install directory permissions; try install and no-install versions; uninstall and reinstall codecs; check antivirus, firewall; change comparability mode; clean registry with ccleaner I tested this game on another computer and it seems to be able to get past this point with the little retro game starting, but both computers are set up similarly update- and codec-wise (main differences being the one with the problem is a newer Intel-based laptop, with the other being an AMD-based desktop). I really shouldn't play on that computer. Did you download your game from Fuwanovel?: Yes Any help would be appreciated. Quote
moonrabbit Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Hi! I was just having the same problem except only the logo showed up and it stopped completely. I don't know if you've managed to figure out how to fix it but just so there's an answer out there, I would say: Start a new game. Since it's not very long and still really part of the intro, I skipped till around the time Aoba and Ren go back inside to check out the RPG (you have to be careful and stop every once in a while to check where the skip is), and I also had my text on AUTO. Maybe that somehow stopped the bug? Either way, I hope this helps someone! Quote
