Grisaia has some of the best tags I've even seen.

 

Psychological Problems, Thriller and Science Fiction are probably my top three. Though I didn't finish that many VNs with these tags, but the few I read really made great impact on me.

I don't have a favorite tag, I usually filter with Language: English and then check tags and characters of a VN that has an English patch. I avoid VNs with rape (Except ones with reverse rape - Monster Girl Quest because it was hilarious) that's mainly the only thing I look when checking tags.
