Hoshizora Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Hihi~ Recently, I've been having trouble finding VNs that I've been able to stick reading so I decided it'd be better to ask here than trying out random VNs. Though I'm usually not picky about VNs, there are a thing I can't stand that is keeping me away from a lot of really good VNs such Higurashi and Umineko and that is the art. didn't mind art from VNs like Fate/Stay Night but the art in Umineko and Higurashi just really isn't my favorite. That being said, the list of Visual Novels i have read are or tried out are- Aiyoku no Eustia Aoishiro A Profile Canvas 2 Chaos;Head Cross Channel Da Capo Da Capo II Deardrops Dengeki Stryker Dra Koi Duel Savior Edelweiss + Fandisk ef-- a fairy tale of the two Eien no Aselia Ever17 Fate/Stay Night Flyable Heart Grisaia no Kajitsu G-Senjou no Maou Hinatabokko Hoshizora no Memoria Ikinari Anata ni Koishiteiru Imouto Ijime Kamidori Alchemy Meister Kanon Kara no Shoujo Katahane Katawa Shoujo Kikokugai Kimi no Nagori wa Shizuka ni Yurete Kira☆Kira + Fandisk Koihime Musou Doki Otome Darake no Sangokushi Engi Kono Oozora ni, Tsubasa wo Hirogete Little Busters Mahoutsukai no Yoru Maji de Watashi ni Koishinasai Monmusu Quest! Hoshizora Posted February 27, 2014 Author Posted February 27, 2014 I've already read Saya no Uta (Song of Saya) Personally, I really liked it too and it left me a little broken in more than one way x) Quote
ServeTheServant Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Whoa, you've read a lot more than me. Maybe Clannad, or Tsukihime if you're fine with its art? Quote
Hoshizora Posted February 27, 2014 Author Posted February 27, 2014 I'm downloading Clannad right now and I think I'm going to try Tsukihime out! The art is fine and its a Type Moon project~ Quote

The art is fine and its a Type Moon project~ Some people might hate me for this post but the Anime Clannad was waaaaaay better than the VN. I suggest you watch it. One of the best things i've ever seen (Assuming you watch the afterstory and the first season) c; Quote

One of the best things i've ever seen (Assuming you watch the afterstory and the first season) c; Well that's a personnal opinion. I couldn't watch the anime after reading the VN because so many characters just fell in the background and became unnoticed. Plus I didn't like the voice acting nor the animation. Quote
FruitsPunchSamurai Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 There's Danganronpa, the gyakuten kenji series, 999 is a good one too. Also Daibanchou:Big Bang Age and Harukoi Otome, though i only liked a couple routes in this one Quote
Satoshi Mochida Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 You could try out "IB". However, it is a game/Visual Novel made using RPGMaker. The graphic/art is really old style. It has multiple endings and it doesn't take too long to finish a route. The story is a mix between sadness & horror. If you tried Corpse Party before, IB plays in a similar fashion. Quote
Otaku1612 Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Maybe something in the Galaxy Angels series might suit you. First one's good, second one as well, and stuff gets really awesome in the third. Quote
Hoshizora Posted February 27, 2014 Author Posted February 27, 2014 I downloaded Clannad and Tsukihime and plan on reading them sometime this week I also looked into Galaxy Angels, Gyakuten Kenji, and Corpse Party and they look really interesting too! The only thing that I don't like about these is that it isn't doesn't support PC natively. Quote
