Anyone writing fanfics about their VNs/LN/anime?

Title is pretty much self-explanatory, really. I'm just curious if anyone in the forums have any fan fictions they wrote, for my curiosity and to gain some insight in different writing styles.

My first and only fanfic I've written was about Kud for Batman's contest, and I even won that portion of it, so you can check that out, the link is in my signature. To be fair though, there wasn't much competition.

I wrote a fanfic for that contest too, although didn't get any fancy awards for it. :/

 

But I've actually written quite a few fanfics in the past few years (although not nearly as often recently, since I've sort of fallen out of the fandom I used to write for). It was a lot of fun, when I still had the time and motivation to do it.

I use to write a Accel World fan fic but I never finished it. Usually when I write fan fic I like making my own characters and having it take place in the same world as the LN/anime/VN with occasional references to the original contents events.

I am currently writing a densely-written extension of the Hoshizora no Memoria canon, as preparation for exploring the idea of "cathartic release" as it relates to the "nightmares" in the series. Sometimes navigating the many outcomes and implications of the concepts and rules I have defined or extended can seem overwhelming at times, as I find myself discovering new contradictions and potential plotholes quite often. Nevertheless, I feel a constant inertia pushing me onward to at least get a rough outline ready for review. Anyone interested can either talk on #fuwanovel or through PM.

 

Currently missing vital Eternal Heart canon to verify or disprove my current incomplete outline.

I haven't since I can't write worth a shit. Although, there are a few amazing fics at fanfiction.net that I really enjoyed, which is surprising since at least 90%+ of fics on that site are crap.

Yep, that was a lot of fun.  I might try writing fanfics some more, that was my first one.  Is there anywhere particularly good to post fanfics about VNs?

I use fanfiction.net,  then if that VN has no anime adaptation, then you can find it's title in the Game section. If it's not there you can request it to be added.
