Kosakyun Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Seriously, Baron is beautiful. I've been waiting for an updated Baron ever since A Twist of Fate was released. It looks so epic <3 Same here. The new Baron looks awesome. I mean c'mon. If you compare the new Baron's design to the old one, the old one looks like a pushover. Quote
LiquidShu Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 Going to be leveling a smurf in the preseason if anyone wants to add it: Gwiyomi Desu Quote
arakura Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 New is bad! I like the old one more! It had more character! *cries* It's not that bad I guess, just feels weird. The colors are flatter and the textures are really smooth. Things got less vibrant, but the jungle monsters are pretty artsy now Quote
Zodai Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Recently got back into using TF - feels nice to return to my comfort zone after trying other stuff for so long. Also, I'm surprised I'm not on the OP list, this sounds like something I'd have posted in long ago o_O Server - NA Zodai on both forum and in-game. Quote
Satsuki Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Haaa....using Kalista is seriously tiring. Especially when my sp/tank just keep firing themself on low health into enemy team when I was trying to rescue them with my ulti, and rage at me later for god knows reason. Quote
Kosakyun Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 I'm kind of amazed, I did pretty well as Lux against an Ahri. I usually do pretty bad against Ahris as Lux. Prolly didn't hurt that we also had a Morg and a Nunu. We'd bind people while he was ulting...it was beautiful...absolutely no coordination, either, just soloqueue luck and the standard chat. Also ROTFLstomped with Annie mid. I love Annie mid, people think she sucks until you Flash + Tibbers, and they get 100-0'd. Just so satisfying. A fed Annie is a scary Annie. Quote
jeftai Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 You gotta use Team Builder and get repeatedly kicked for being non-meta until someone finally doesn't care. Then you gotta get a few early kills and snowball so you're not just a glorified stun dispenser. I've been playing Annie more often than Lux simply because she's more reliable, and she has fewer bad matchups. Akali mid? No problem. Ult covers her entire Shroud. Stun that bitch under your turret, easy mid win. Hello, Fizz, trying to dive? Eat a stunning fireball to the face. LB? lol Stunned at worst possible moment. Eat fire. Quote
slamerz Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 How well did everyone get along in game? I always avoid these types of games because of how ugly I see some people become. Personally I find that it depends, for the most part a large majority of the games players are silent, they only communicate with pings, it's usually not to bad. However because most of these players are quite when you do have a shit person they seem loud as hell because well they usually will not shut up. The game has a very fun little feature that you use when any of these people appear in your game called the mute button. At any time in game just hit tab to look at the player list in game, and right next to their name is a button that will mute them. Since I don't care to see what most people have to say in game as soon as a negative comment is made by someone in game I simply mute them so that I will not have to deal with it further. Quote

Sometimes the match just get too intense, so I need some good laughs from watching people raging and banging each other while having popcorn Quote

Am still not that good, so trying to time Annie's passive stun right. I screw up in the most important parts of the game though. I guess I need to play more. Quote
Kosakyun Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 Smart-casting is indeed useful, but not for all champs. I mean, some don't really want smart-casting. At least in my opinion. And yeah. But Annie's still cute. That's why I use her. Quote

Satsuki Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 Smart cast screwed me up quite a lot of times, so...I almost never turn it on~~ Quote

Eclipsed Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 Something with huge range like Lux's ult would be better for me to regular cast for the range indicator, but in general I'm so used to smart cast that I use it for everything xD Quote
Kosakyun Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 I used smart cast for Lux back then. You could just see all of them flying! Quote
jeftai Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 i only started using smart cast when urf was on. like seriously urf was so much spam you could not do without. also i learned range for most champs there with smartcast on. Quote
Kosakyun Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Generally, smart cast makes you a lot better in timing your skills. LiquidShu 1 Quote
arakura Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 I smart cast everything always. it makes things smooth, but it's the reason I will never play Orianna. Learning her is just impossible without seeing the range indicator or spending a good amount of time. Back before Riot felt the need to rip out the heart of AP Kog that was also a hard champ to smartcast with (1.5s cd ult with length that varies by level and is really big). It's pretty easy to get used to and it makes things a lot better. *Most* high level players use it, but it's not ubiquitous among pros. Quote
LiquidShu Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 SNOWDOWN!!!!! Don't really like any of the skins /zzzz Got all the icons though but again don't like the ward skins /zzzz Quote
Kosakyun Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Goth Annie's the skin I want the most. Quote
