Just finished chapter 162.  :unsure:

 

Just for a moment I thought that we would see a major shift in the manga. But of course Nisekoi will always be Nisekoi and take small steps to get there.  <_<

 

 

Conclusion: Raku will die alone

 

At this rate he'll die from old age before he picks anyone. Perhaps he is actually asexual?

Yeah, this chapter reminded me that I should never get my hopes up with Nisekoi... never  :vinty:

 

At this point, I don't even care who he ends up with (for the most part), I just want him to end up with someone  :amane:

Raku doesn't have enough balls to do a harem, he'll probably pick the best friend route in the end.

 

Honestly I feel bad for the mangaka because no matter what girl he picks 1000's of fans are going to be pissed off.

OreImo is a different case.

The LN gathered too much attention from the public (more than your typical harem LN) and the author was too pressured to make a legitimate Kirino ending so he chickened out of it.

Can't really blame him much I guess, no one wants society looking down on them.

 

Nisekoi is different since there's no complicated family situations, it's just a generic harem romcom.

 

Of course the author is still pressured by fans, but he definitely has a lot more free reign.
