Nosebleed Posted March 16, 2015 Author Posted March 16, 2015 Mangakas don't really make a lot of money. Maybe a shounen Jump one makes a bit more than your typical mangaka, but even so it's not an exaggerated amount. I assure you Naoshi Komi isn't living the thug lyf. I guess another key difference between Oreimo and Nisekoi is that Oreimo took itself a bit more seriously. Nisekoi kind of has charm to it for not taking itself so seriously which is why I don't really mind if progress is slow for character development. Quote

brawlbankai Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Character development? In Nisekoi? Bwahahahaha Quote
Nosebleed Posted March 16, 2015 Author Posted March 16, 2015 You have to be really dense not to notice your own feelings even after being directly asked like that. Even in To Love-Ru Rito confessed to like one of the girls more even after being asked and pondered about it. Quote

phersu Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Well, progress is sloooowly being made, as it appears Chitoge might be moving in with Raku. Quote
Nosebleed Posted March 16, 2015 Author Posted March 16, 2015 Well, progress is sloooowly being made, as it appears Chitoge might be moving in with Raku. That's been foreshadowed for a while now. It'd be more disappointing if she didn't move in with him. It still will likely mean jack shit to the plot. Quote
XReaper Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 dunno if friends should be living together when both are from opposite sex, even best friends, so i wont get my hopes up Quote

XReaper Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 hahaha but thats exactly how it is in 95% of all animes i watched, where guys & girls even blush when they´re breathing the same air. i´m considering rl the other way round...maybee its due my hungarian heritage, bit too liberal when it comes to sexuality Quote
Nosebleed Posted March 17, 2015 Author Posted March 17, 2015 Another new visual before season 2 airs. Just 2 more weeks guys! lol @ Haru and Kosaki with same-face-syndrome How many of you are actually watching season 2? I'm usually not one to watch anime after I've read the manga but I really want to know how their voices will sound and stuff. Quote

I'm usually not one to watch anime after I've read the manga but I really want to know how their voices will sound and stuff. I might watch a few random episodes of it once it ends. I'm pretty similar in my tastes, if I've read a manga I usually dont watch the anime unless it diverts from the manga plot line. Quote
Kosakyun Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 The Onodera goddesses are simply dashing. I haven't watched season 1, really. Guess I'll disregard the BD and go to the TV version directly. Quote
Nosebleed Posted March 18, 2015 Author Posted March 18, 2015 The Nisekoi BDs are more censored than the TV release. Quote
TehRealOne Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 The Nisekoi BDs are more censored than the TV release. BD? Quote
TehRealOne Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 The blu-rays That reminds me, Are BD usually uncensored for ecchi animes? Like, I dunno, Shinmai Maou no Testament xD Quote
Blackbird Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Nisekoi manga is keep dragging out the plot never moves any forward. Quote
brawlbankai Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 That reminds me, Are BD usually uncensored for ecchi animes? Like, I dunno, Shinmai Maou no Testament xD I'm no expert, but in most cases I believe it is. I'm almost positive Shinmai will get an uncensored BD. It's basically the only reason the show is airing in the first place, and fans will rage if it doesn't. So far, Nisekoi is the only anime I've seen where the BD is actually more censored than the TV broadcast. Quote
Kosakyun Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 The Nisekoi BDs are more censored than the TV release. >More censored Okay I hate Nisekoi's BDs. Goodbye, BD life. All for non-censorship. Quote
Nosebleed Posted March 19, 2015 Author Posted March 19, 2015 Indeed, Nisekoi is the only anime that i've ever seen censor its blu-rays. To be fair, most of Nisekoi is not really ecchi so there's nothing to censor. But that hot springs episode is horribly censored. Shinmai Maou is coming out uncensored in the blu-rays of course, there's nothing nuch to the series besides that to begin with. Quote
Tyrael Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 I never thought there was a lot to censor in the first place... Most fanservice in the Nisekoi anime revolves around dodgy camera shots and excessively long focus shots of certain areas (seriously though, there was a shot in season one where the camera lingered on a girl's breasts for 8 seconds flat, I timed it) Quote
Kosakyun Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 (seriously though, there was a shot in season one where the camera lingered on a girl's breasts for 8 seconds flat, I timed it) I see you have a lot of time. Do I seriously need to watch the anime? Like, seriously? Quote

But from the screenshots I've seen, it looks like they overly censor those scenes, even in the blu-rays. I've never heard of anyone timing something like that... but that's still a long time. Quote
