It's pretty addicting to read (even though you know nothing's going to happen), I also read 100 chapters in one day

So you basically already read season 2, I doubt they'll go any further than chapter 100.

 

Do you agree Haru is the best girl?

She's definitely adorable but I'm reserving my judgment until I've read everything.

Right now I'd probably vote Ruri because she's the voice of reason and she represents your frustration as a reader towards Onodera when she has failed to express her feelings yet again. It's pretty satisfying to see her say all the things you just wanna yell to these characters yourself when you see them doing something dumb.

Chitoge also gets some development but not as noticeable.

With that said I'm definitely disappointed with Onodera as well, she's just so... boring.

 

Marika is definitely the most entertaining girl (that valentine's day sculpture was just... yes)

Kosaki has a lot of appeal for being the stereotypical 'cute and shy' girl but she doesn't have any interesting qualities/hobbies/whatever to back it up. Purely based on looks she would be the girl I'd go for as well.

 

I have a thing for aggressive girls (I think it's a very good quality to have considering I'm a very passive person myself haha), I just find it to be extremely attractive. I can definitely understand why people wouldn't like her though. I mean, she's a crazy stalker with a police force to back her up along with the fact she's just in love with the idea of Raku as he was back them. She declares she loves him and wants to marry him but the truth is she knows very little about him at all, it's a bit weird when you think about it.

I understand some people don't like her obnoxiousness, and that's fine, but I also couldn't help but fall in love with her perseverance. Out of all the girls she's the one who tries the hardest to get Raku to notice her (and I really get upset when he brushes her off), she does go a little far sometimes (like that parrot chapter) but she's still a girl with emotions, when Raku is nice to her and she goes all deredere and starts speaking in Kansai-ben, that's when she's the cutest, there's no way you can resist that side of hers.

I think Raku needs to start noticing Marika more, she fights for it!

 

The rest of the girls just kind of let themselves go with the flow, but Marika doesn't. Fight Marika~

Haru IS best girl. Not just best Onadera. but best girl.

 

Ruri is fun to watch, and she's also half of the best pair in the series.

 

I personally find Marika annoying, but that's just my own personal preference. She is really cute though when she starts speaking kansai-ben.

 

Well, next chapter should be interesting at least. Unfortunately, I doubt Chitoge will just sit there and let Marika have All the spotlight.

I wouldn't say i hate Kosaki, i supported her at first, but then you realize her character is incredibly stale and never changes through out the story and it gets boring after the first 500 jokes with her revolving around her shyness, but it's not to say that's different than the rest of the cast it's just that since she's Raku's love interest you'd think something would have happened by now. Lel no.

She never manages to go through with anything ever..

And that is why i got tired of Kosaki.

Sometimes it's a bit too awkward though.

 

Anyway, we have our preferences.

I obviously like Marika as well.

In fact, I like all the girls.

But who doesn't? Right?

I'm just at chapter 18 and till now I know everything from the anime. But i still enjoy it and don't regret it to choose that for my first manga to read (shame on me )... Looking forward to the next billions of chapters

Smart choice, this is definitely a very fun and relaxing series to start with

 

if you enjoy the comedy I would recommend The World God Only Knows (both anime and manga, in fact: you need to have read the manga at least partially to understand season 3 or else you'll be lost because they do a huge timeskip in between S1 and S2)

Haha no worries, TWGOK: Godess arc (aka season III) is one of my favourite anime seasons so I tend to recommend it to people as often as I can

For now I've made my choice... Normally I would go with Kosaki, she is just the cutest one . The funniest for me is definitely Ruri. But surprisingly I've chosen Chitoge. Somehow I really like her and I don't even know why ...

I'm glad the anime (which I still haven't watched) is bringing people into the manga, as I personally enjoy it more.

I dislike Yui for the sole fact she's a hindrance to the plot more than anything.

She could have been cute, but in truth she's just another bland character that's too jealous to actually move the plot forward.

Too many girls = less time in the spotlight for Marika 

 

therefore it's a bad idea
