I started disliking her when she blantantly refused to tell Raku about the pendant because of her feelings.

 

Also I don't like teacher characters in general.

And possibly because when she came in the plot everything just felt even more stagnating.

"Stop adding new girls please!" was how I felt.

 

Though I have no doubts Nisekoi will add another girl sometime so at this point I hardly care.

But even then I think Yui is a really poor addition, she's pretty much a motherly/teacher figure and a goody two shoes (or acts like one) that's always trying to take care of everyone with a bias for Raku (again how do these people all maintain a crush for 10 years...), I don't like these types of characters, they feel fake to me (odd thing to say given this is a manga but yeah).

 

Just personal preferences I guess.

I think the thing about maintaining a crush for several years is possible.

I had a crush on someone for six years.

Though I do admit that it's a tad unrealistic, given the circumstances between them.

 

Other than that, I have no problems with Yui whatsoever.

Though the fact that she's cockblocking the story is somewhat frustrating.

And I'm not saying a crush for 10 years is impossible, but when it's applied to almost every character... come on, it's like the author didn't even try (which, theoretically he didn't since the original story was meant to focus on Chitoge but he added all these new characters after)

Isn't this the case with a ton of 'childhood friend' types of girls anyways? They had a crush on the MC when they were young, he or she moved away and now its 5+ years later and they still love him

It was originally meant to be something that ultimately developed to Raku x Chitoge if you look at it in hindsight.

I almost forgot the goal was to go to that shrine where there's obviously another lady with mystical powers who just so happens to be twins with the first one (Nisekoi ladies and gentlemen).

 

Well, unoriginal joke aside, Marika almost pulled it off, I kind of despise Shuu for stirring things up, Marika could have had a nice date

 

I bet next chapter, somehow, the arrows will both be stopped, because that always happens.

If Nisekoi follows the latter, we still got some more years~
