Hurricane Paisley Visual Novel Kickstarter

As promised, a fresh topic for a visual novel game I'm working on called Hurricane Paisley. It's not an otome game! *cheers*

The demo is really clunky as I'm still learning ruby scripting but it gives an idea of the story and the way it will pan out.

Yep! No harems for me this time 

My other game was going to be all over the place and couldn't decide what it wanted to be, so I've decided to stick with my original project, which is Hurricane Paisley.

A visual novel that's about a genuine tale rather than some bland dating sim? Sounds great--just chipped in ten bucks .

There are too many otome novels out there now. It wasn't until I was trying to promote mine that I realised I couldn't stand a chance in the massive wave. I decided to stick to my original idea and I'm grateful I did.

Interesting story, looks worth a read if it get's completed. 

 

Also why the title Hurricane?

BoA's song 'Hurricane Venus' had just come out when I was thinking of title names. I just loved the word Hurricane! Also, closer to the end of part 1 (there are 3 parts to the game) Paisley ends up obtaining some hurricane-like powers, so the name just stuck.

At the end you wrote "Q1 2014",  as the estimated release time, I suppose you mean 2015?

Thanks for that! Didn't realise there was a typo. It has been fixed accordingly.

 

EDIT: We've resubmitted, lowered the goal and created a new demo using a different program.
