Honestly I just think I picked a bad torrent, but the game folder seems pretty normal:

Ignore the portuguese crap, I if try to change it my keyboard becomes incompatible, so I have to leave it like this -_-

It's a common problem experienced by windows 8 users. It is rumored that the game isn't compatible with windows 8. Although I'm not to certain that is the exact cause.

Try reinstalling the game and restarting your computer.

I know I'm too late, but I've made a topic about this a long time ago - so just in case someone has the same problem, here's the solution to this kind of error. It applies to more VNs than just this one.
