LiquidShu Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 I feel like adding a yandere visual novel to my backlog but no of none. Any recommendations on that? Quote
Dark Ariel7 Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 School Days- just kidding I have never actually read any. I am kind of interested though so I will mooch of off yours. Quote
AkkisBlade Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 You could try Yandere, you can find it here on Fuwa. Also, like Dark said, you could try School Days. Quote
Hanako Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 Kurukuru Fanatic and Kimi to Kanojo to Kanojo no Koi Isaid but they are untranslated like the most VNs with yandere If you want more recomendation ask to Krill (he's the yandere master ) Quote
Freestyle80 Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 None except Yandere are translated i think Kurukuru fanatic is being translated atm(halfway done, wait a year) Quote
LiquidShu Posted May 26, 2014 Author Posted May 26, 2014 That is rather unfortunate guess I will have to wait. In due time I will be able to play them as I am learning Japanese, only a matter of time! . Quote
FruitsPunchSamurai Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 It's only one guy working on the translation for Kurukuru by himself, so it won't be done till the next year or so. He's hoping to get a lot done during his summer vacation though. You should check out Yandere, it's pretty stupid but funny at what happens to the mc so you should check it out. The guy who's working on Kurukuru was the one who translated Yandere btw (it's gorey and has cannabalism so don't try it if you don't like that stuff.) Quote
Darkshine Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Not many yanderes out there. School Days is the only thing I can think of, other than that yandere characters aren't that big in VNs(which they should be). Quote
Vokoca Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 The only translated one I can think of from the top of my head is Cross Channel. Quote
LiquidShu Posted June 1, 2014 Author Posted June 1, 2014 Anyone know any other form of yandere media? Be it light novels, manga, of anime? Quote
FruitsPunchSamurai Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Anyone know any other form of yandere media? Be it light novels, manga, of anime? Mirai Nikki if you haven't watched that yet. Quote
LiquidShu Posted June 1, 2014 Author Posted June 1, 2014 Mirai Nikki if you haven't watched that yet. I have about four times now. It is one of my favorite :| just hard to find yandere I guess... other than Higurashi (if that counts). Quote
Kanade Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Yandere? Then you should try School Days, it has some tragic ending, would be nice for you Quote
LiquidShu Posted June 1, 2014 Author Posted June 1, 2014 Yandere? Then you should try School Days, it has some tragic ending, would be nice for you I don't know if my heart can handle it. I was depressed for a good amount of time after White Album 2. From what I have heard School Days is worse. Quote
krill Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 also try cross channel , has a very nice yandere who is amazingly skilled and shows her aptitudes near the climax that just made me all doki doki ..... so so freaking cute Quote

cryofrzd Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 There's some guy on youtube reading out and commenting some short yandere themed VNs in Japanese, but it's really not that hard. I was thinking for those here who are able to enjoy anime without subs but perhaps have difficulty reading the VNs, because I think I'd understand it back before I started reading VNs in Japanese. Here's one I read: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VlynPx2OJrk&list=PLW6OFSwISo_g4IH-pV4WBnUtTL1gy5M8Y The website to download the games is here and there are several more like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t3SFFAaw5B4 <not yet checked out> Quote
