Well I'm not complaining. The new songs are tough but it's definitely possible to FC it after a few tries. It's good practice for me to improve my skills and be ready for the EX songs when they are added into the game

Finally broke free of the curse. Also the EX songs sound fun.

What kind of hinders progress is the fact you can't practice much. Or at least not frequently. This is why the practice app helps.

How did you get 5 clears if you have slept? I've been awake for 8 hours now and only have 2 clears for now (1 on easy and normal aswell).

I did 4 plays yesterday. I went to sleep after 6am meaning i had 6 hours for LP to recharge (the songs are released at midnight here) which would allow for 2 plays but I ranked up which allowed me to do 2 more before going to sleep. (My LP cap is 50)

And today i woke up and did my 5th with LP recharged.

Also did the easy one now so i got a total of 5 love gems out of this. I am happy.

SIF pratice not working on my phone currently, maybe the newest update make it non-function.

My tip to you it so thoroughly memorize when the last off beat note comes and keep thinking about it during the song.

That way you'll be prepared for it when it does come.

Also the escalating cluster of notes are just a bunch of systematic triples. They're easy.

I don't think it's worth to use your love gem for this song. You might as well just wait for the next rotation in a few days time for another attempt. Save those love gems for your next 10+1 pull and hopefully pull yourself a Nico UR  At least, that's what I'm hoping for!

Sadly I won't be able to do any 10+1 draw since right now I only have 9 gems and I really need to save them up for the nico event since by halfway through it my school would have probably started a new term again. And I play using my family ipad so yeah...

Hmm that's hard luck dude. From past experience, by fully utilizing LP from love gems recharges and levels up, I obtained my second SR event cards by using around 7~8 love gems and ~4 hrs of sleep per day for an event rank of ~600. 9 gems might suffice in your case, I'm not sure as I usually go super hardcore during events to maximize LP usage. Also take note that 25 LP songs gives 27 tokens so it is definitely more worth it to only play the daily B-sides during events for a higher token gain.

The amount of tokens you get is proportional to your LP 

Let's imagine a 50 LP cap

You can do 2 hard daily songs for a total of 54 tokens

Or you can do 3 hards that'll give you 48 tokens + 6 from a 5 LP song

It's irrelevant which way you chose because it's all proportional.
Of course only doing hards speeds up the process. But just saying it's not mandatory or else the newbies would have a harder time in events

The game is really well designed to allow any kind of play style and make it fair for everyone.

Not sure on this either, but doesn't hard songs give 46 xp for 15 LP while songs for less LP give less then 3x the LP amount you pay? (not sure about the last part, since I haven't spend less then 15 LP for  quite a while now.

Also, I'm fairly sure that the 25 LP songs gave like 86 xp, which is even more then 3x the LP amount  from 15 LP songs.

Mm the way I see it an expert song gives 27/25 = 1.08 tokens per song whereas the hard gives 16/15 = 1.066 tokens per song. So if I were to play 15 expert songs instead of hard I would be gaining an additional 15 tokens.

Also, a 5 LP song gives only 5 tokens. The only exceptions are 15 LP songs giving 16 tokens and 25 LP songs giving 27 tokens. Therefore, it would actually benefit to play expert for a token gain of 54 versus 53 per 50 LP. The difference is quite small here but when using love gems/leveling up this difference is actually significant. Surmounts to about an additional 4~5 tokens daily if you are fully utilizing all LP.

Correct me if I'm wrong though. Maths has never been one of my stronger subjects

Finally managed to S-S rank for hard level for the daily song. Btw, is the daily rotation thing going to be permanent or would it be ending soon? Also, does it usually last throughout a whole event, like for example the upcoming nico event?

I really hope they don't suddenly release an EX version for the Nico event song. I don't think I'll be able to FC that and my event song ranking will be screwed up   aiming for top 200 again this time, hopefully
