Are you talking initial choice? Your first choice just determines which rare you start the game with, you can collect all the others pretty easily (I have all 9 you could start with), and you can change your overall leader at will as well.

I looked at the Reddit page and people were listing their favorite. So many Nico and Maki, only 2 Rin :(

Alright got the SR Nico and didn't fall below top 1000 overnight finally.

Still couldn't FC soldier game though.

I'm going to start handing out warning points for those who pull Nicos in draws

My anti-FC curse is going strong as always. Haven't had the chance to FC Love Novels since getting Nico... I've gotten 1 break every.single.time. I tried.

I wonder which member has the least number of fans though. I'm guessing it's Hanayo? I've never really seen anyone talking about Kayo-chin much :mellow:

I have no idea of the fandom itself, but going off who has the most favorites on My Anime List, it goes Maki (409), Nico (224), Kotori (201), Honoka (139), Umi (123), Nozomi (110), Eli (108), Rin (64), Hanayo (37)

 

maybe kayo-chin too.shy, and voice too XD her voice may not really impact, just cute i think

Kayo-chin being so shy is what makes her cute! And I think she has once of the cutest voices ever.

 

It's odd how I like the cute voices more when they talk, but singing I like the cooler voices like Rin, Umi, Maki, and Eri

I'm not like that, it's random for me. I like Hanayo and Kotori when they talk (so cutes), but my favorite singers are Rin, Maki, Hanayo, Honoka.

 

And Rin falls under cool voice and cute, specifically because of her nya~s

Maki is an overall favorite because of her tsundereness and her really beautiful voice.

I'd also say Hanayo is the least favorite. For me Eri is the one i like the least.

Hanayo is pretty cute, especially her voice. Nico and Maki are probably the most popular outside Japan.

Umi deserves more love though.

I think the reason Hanayo isn't really popular is because she doesn't really have an outstanding personality trait.

At least from my point of view.

Exactly what me and a friend came to the conclusion about Hanayo's lack of popularity. Rin's lack of popularity came from her lack of importance and her energetic personality being overshadowed by Honoka's (though there's so much more to Rin than just being energetic, but that's the most obvious trait)

When I think Hayano i just think "Taihen!!!" and "The girl who eats a lot of rice".

I'd agree with Rin too, her personality conflicts with Honoka's but Honoka is more of a main girl and even in terms of being genki Honoka overpowers Rin.

 

Honoka is super genki

Rin is slightly less genki but she has the "nya~" factor

Maki is a tsundere (AKA the most popular archtype)

Nico is Nico (Do i even need to explain?)

Nozomi is the Kansai-ben Miko

Eri is the mature senpai

Umi is the serious one

Kotori is the personification of pure girl

 

And then Hanayo is just simply the girl who eats  a lot of rice and likes idols.

 

Not saying Hanayo is a bad character, I think she's really cute, it's just that she doesn't outshine in almost any aspects.

I would like to declare that Umi is the purest girl out of the group. Her scenes with Eri in the SIF JP event convinced me completely. Doesn't even know the implicit meaning of being someone else's Onee-sama.

 

I think Hanayo is just overshadowed by everyone else because they all get compared to one another. She doesn't exactly have unique traits for herself, but I still like her a lot as an individual character.

 

I'd put her around the middle of my list above a few girls.

(They shall not be named because I'll definitely be destroyed immediately <_< )

True Umi is extremly pure. I mean just look at her turning off the TV in panic after seeing a kiss scene.

But I think she's more of the diligent type overall with a pure side to her. As in she focuses on other stuff that are not unpure.

 

Nothing wrong with naming your top girls. It's no secret here Eri is the girl I like the least.

finally have internet to start posting, been awhile everyone.

I've got a pretty close running for favorite member, but I'd say that Hanayo has more going for her than you recognize. She's the one who's really into idols, just like Nico, but more as a fan. I really like that because it's something different from what you might assume from her other traits, and I think it's fun and cute. I still don't really understand why the west like Nico and Maki so much, and seem to generally like Eri and Umi way less than Japan

Tsundere, it's all because of the tsundere archtype that Maki is so incredibly popular.

And Nico is a comic relief character a lot of times which is quite memorable as well.

This is from a westerner's perspective.

I'm pretty sure I've made it obvious enough (and I fear for you if you haven't realized it), but my favorite is Rin *gasp*

I've posted my list before, but I guess I'll do it again

Rin (So many reasons to name, she's my ideal in so many ways)

Maki (I <3 tsunderes)

Honoka (if you like Rin, you'll most likely like Honoka :P)

Hanayo (Again, a lot of reasons beyond her personality type)

Nico (I just can't place her higher, she's the "middle" for me)

Kotori (Just overall enjoy her personality, nothing special to me though)

Umi (I don't care for her overall personality much, but her crippling shyness is really cute)

Eri (really just don't care about her, not a fan of her personality type nor actions)

Nozomi (the only character I actually dislike)

Launch game, SR Eri appears "you didn't forget about me, did you?"

Look at Live shows, go back to main menu, R Eri appears "You didn't forget about me, did you?"

GO AWAAAY
