Love Live! School Idol Festival Thread

I was so happy about the Hanayo event starting tomorrow I went ahead and did a 10+1 anyway, hoping for one of the new cards or just general improvements to my Pure team.

 

Naturally, all I got was one SR. Granted, it's the Nico event SR so I finally got to idolize her, but come on. All the rares were repeats - and I'm missing quite a few, actually - minus a cool Hanayo R. Oh well, I guess the RNG was nice enough to give me my waifu.

 

Not sure what to do with the repeats... Level skills or use for EXP? Either way, that's still 73 gems left for the event, so I should be fine.

Ceris, Nosebleed, if you feel like it, throw some of your favorite Rin and Nico cards at me, I want to draw something for you guys' birthdays

My 2 favorite Nico cards are the Nico Panda and this Yukata Nico (I absolutely love Yukatas, it's one of the greatest things about Japan)

Well regardless I worked hard to translate it. I didn't translate the dialogue from the TV because the font looked like it was written by a 2 year old. I like clean fonts and i didn't feel like wasting time just attempting to understand it, it's not really important anyway, just some random blabbering between Haruka and Yuu.

I don't know why I always wait so long to read these, they're always great. Sakura Trick was pretty great except for one thing in the anime that bothered me so much it ruined my enjoyment (the sister). I really liked this tie-in too, and I love how Rin and Hanayo were the only two included in this

 

Was going through google images and randomly found one previewing custom folder images for Love Live so I changed my already Love Live dedicated folder to use this

I like this event song better than the last one, the mapping is a lot more fun.

Although no cut off increase is a pain.

I really enjoyed it, and if you're wondering why there's hangul characters (korean) it's because I used korean scans since they were of much higher quality than the japanese ones, hope it doesn't bother you, it's also the reason I ended up translating all SFX (because they were in hangul).

 

I hope you enjoy this story as much as I did and chapter 2 will be released maybe tomorrow or the day after, for now this is already a good enough job to do in a single day

I'm actually thinking of maybe opening up a wordpress to post all the stuff i've been translating. What do you think?

I'm not competing in the Maki event, will be too hard to win. I'll only be getting day 1 SRs for Hanayo and Rin.

So after reading an article on installing Perk app to make money for Love Gems, I made 25 dollars in 3 days. I mostly signed up for free trials like Crunchyroll and then I cashed out immediately for some Itune Gift Cards. Quick and easy way to get love gems.

 

The days include waiting for money to gather in real time, signing up for pointless free trials to get points, and then waiting on your gift cards (walmart, amazon, whatever etc.). If anyone's interested I can post a link.

TLDR; basically sign up. Download the app on your tablet; phones etc. Login and start watching movies to aquire points. You can let it play in the background while you don't use it. Most of my bigger income came from signing up on free trials (make a separate e-mail and don't give those free trials your real number UNLESS explicitly stated that they need to send you a confirmation code and you feel safe with it). After that, I make about 2 bucks a day running 2 machines when they're not in use. Make sure you cash it whenever possible so when you decide to cancel the trials, they don't revoke your points.

 

Note: when you cash out it'll ask for your personal information. It's ok to give Perk them. As far as I know, they don't spam you or sell your information.

 

You can also run it on your PC in the background with VMWare, and basically just forget that it's running while you make money.
