1. Sengoku Rance

and thats the only one im sure of that will take my number one spot

its a gameplay/VN but heavily focused on gameplay, its nothing like the generic VNs. There is alot of weird sexual content which can be disturbing for some and very exciting for others. Alot of options and routes and bad endings and funny moments as well.

2. Dragon Quest, Super Mario, Pokemon, MMOs...they all at same level more or less

5.) Kingdom Hearts (358/2 Days if I have to pick)

6.) Pokemon (any works but probably G/S or Stadium)

10.) Tales of the Abyss (Tales of Graces f was close though)

 

If counting VNs I would have put Zero Escape and Ace Attorney in there. 

 

Senran Kagura Burst, Kid Icarus: Uprising, Paper Mario, No More Heroes, Little Big Planet, Trauma Center, and Persona 2 were all close contenders.

Mugen souls was pretty good and I plan to beat Z eventually and the FFX remake.  My friend and I have been playing Valkyria Chronicles for the last 4 years..we still haven't beaten it.

 trololololol i love that game so much..so i play it once in a while even though i finished it(FYI i finished it 2 times lol)

i love FFX lol....i`m not too fond of FFX-2 though. and yeah Mugen soul isnt as good as i expected but the crazy damage are fun once in a while.

Ofc...playing Disgaea D2 once in a while too...Disgaea and Mugen r some of the games that in enjoy purely because of the gameplay(their story kinda bad...IMO)

What can I say?  The PS3 generation mostly sucked for my favorite genres and it shows.  I turned to PC gaming and VNs precisely because of the lack of truly obsession-worthy games on consoles, at least for me.

For me the first Disgaea was good and the rest of them failed to compare (although 4 wasn't too bad).  D2, once again, is in my backlog.

Also, as I see a lot of old FF fans here I recommend them to try The Last Remnant they are very similar in many ways. I myself loved FF up till FFVIII from the newer ones the only one I played was FFXII and I didn't like it that much.

My #2 spot is held by a Bioware game.    Though I'm more of a fan of their older games(Infinity Engine ftw!), I did enjoy both Mass Effect and Dragon Age.

 

The Last Remnant was fun, though I never finished it. (Couldn't really go back to the 360 version after experiencing all the improvements of the PC version heh.)  FFXII was one of my favorite PS2 games, and probably my favorite FF from those published after VII.  I'm a big fan of Yasumi Matsuno and his games.

RPGs: Baldur's Gate 2 (Old-school Western)

The Witcher (new Western)

Persona 3 Portable (new JRPG)

Chrono Trigger (old JRPG)

 

Strategy: XCom 

Valkyria Chronicles

Total War Rome (I just picked one. Most of them are good)

 

Sandbox: Morrowind

 

Adventure: The Walking Dead

Ace Attorney (It's an adventure game.)

Definitely not, I Love everything Bioware's done... except DA2. And Sonic. And their first game which wasn't an RPG.
