I guess it really depends on who watches what. If it doesn't grab the eye of someone who would have a taste for that kind of writing, it likely wouldn't happen. In Chihayafuru's case, it wasn't able to reach out to a yuri writer deprived of morals.

This is honestly one of the saddest series that i've ever read. Never before have i ever felt so bad for a girl in the hentai universe. Shindol really knows how to bring in the feels, definitely in top 5 on my list of favorite hentai artists.

I looked trough https://exhentai.org/g/913985/0840499ca7/, which is by one of my favourite artists at the moment, and it's surprisingly enjoyable and easy to follow even though I can't read a single letter of it. I wonder if that's because of the great art or just because most hentai these days is just made to be pretty and predictable. Alternatively, it could be forcing me to use my imagination to fill the gaps with more lewdness than it actually has.
