Sorry for the title, it's weird and doesn't explain nothing =P

 

Well, I'm reading G-senjou no Maou right now, but I also read a Yaoi novel weeks before, so I wondered -

 

Are there any visual novel, english translated, where the MC can get into boys or girls routes? Like, depending of his/her choices, the character can ends up with a girl or a boy?

 

For example, imagine if Eiichi, from G-senjou was a "hero", and it had an romantic route just for him. Or Yoshino, from Rewrite, getting close to Kotarou, while he also tried with the girls. Or, the last one, in Koichoco has alread a gay character, but seems like he doesn't get any routes...

 

A game like this, and in english, exists? And if so, would you guys recommend any?

 

Oh, and the MC doesn't need to be bissexual alread, but also changes due to his or hers development with the other characters >.<

I know CLANNAD has something like this. Theres a certain gay sunohara route hidden in there somewhere.

There are probably games with traps, but other than that, not sure if there's any straight bi-sexual game translated.

I watched here now this Sonohara-gay ending, but it's just a small bad ending =/ What I wanted was a full "gay" route/hero.

I haven't seen any translated ones that do this for real, but you can always look in the depths of the nukige world.

If you want english translated, there really aren't any options. There are a handful of VNs that have a bunch of female heroines and one male crossdressing "heroine" but they aren't very plentiful. Most of those are nukige, only a tiny handful are in english and they are mostly just bad OELVNs.

OELVN = Original English Language VN. As in, made outside of Japan.

Translated? Nope.

The only translated VN with a sort-of-bisexual protagonist that I know of, is http://vndb.org/v15. But that VN doesn't have typical routes, it's one of the least romance-oriented titles available, the protagonist is a girl, and she's... well, not exactly normal.

 

From untranslated stuff, http://vndb.org/v3504 seems to fit like a glove - it has selectable male and female protagonists, and apparently features all possible homo- and heterosexual combinations (plus tentacles?). I didn't read it yet, so I don't know how it really works (I have a feeling it will be focused on Yaoi/Yuri though).

Oh, and I have just found this thing -> http://vndb.org/v13066. No idea what it is (doesn't even look like a VN really), but it seems to have the protagonist who swings both ways (it looks very gory and generally messed up though, proceed with caution).
