SanadaShadow Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Nobody else does either. Then again, nobody else knows why I can't see any pictures on FuwaForums, either. Quote

Forythos Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 I read and collect a lot of manga, but I'm mostly into seinen. I try to stick to one manga per artist for my top 5. 1. Oyasumi Punpun by Inio Asano 2. Billy Bat by Naoki Urasawa 3. Akira by Katsuhiro Otomo 4. Berserk by Kentaro Miura 5. Bambi by Atsushi Kaneko 6. Non Non Biyori by Atto 7. To Love-Ru Darkness by Kentarou Miura and Saki Hasemi 8. Kaze no Tani no Nausicaa by Hayao Miyazaki (yeah, I stretched it to a top 8, sue me. ) Quote

Cofee Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 1. Mars - Generally I read any genre so some cliches just repeat and repeat. I stumbled upon this gem accidently and reread several times already. 2. Boku no Chikyuu wo Mamotte - Same reason as above though at first I was relucant to read it because of it's anime adaptation. 3. Holyland - Favorite genre with stunning story and characters. This manga never ceases to amaze me and make me hooked on his manga. 4.Watashitachi no Shiawase na Jikan - First manga to make me cry, I'm sucker for painful, angsty stories 5.Dokuhime - same reason as above Quote
Targenor Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 1. BLAME! 2. NOiSE 3. Biomega 4. Sidonia no Kishi 5. Abara Quote
ShoBeck Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 Hmm... top 5 sounds kinda hard to leave so much stuff out but if i had to choose: 1. BECK (to this day, it's the only manga that made me cry + it's the first i've read so... yeah, it means a lot to me) 2. Ode to Kirihito (my first step towards more gruesome seinen and i loved every single minute of it) 3. Oyasumi Punpun (grim, twisted, depressing and quite simply amazing) 4. Watashitachi no Shiawase no Jikan (despite being short, it left quite an impression on me) 5. Saikyou Densetsu Kurosawa/Pluto/Eden: it's an Endless World (made it a top 7... it was hard not to include any of these, please don't ban me for cheating ;_ Quote

arakura Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 I've only read ~30 different mangas (not counting one-shots), so this isnt the most refined list, but everything here will be on my "amazing" list: And in no particular order: -Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou -Onani master Kurosawa -Sundome -Yotsubato -NHK ni Youkoso! (and Maison Ikkoku, but I watched that first) (honorable mention for Naruto for being really amazingly fun to read) Quote
