sm2345 Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Well, from my personal experience (I'm a guy btw), anyone I've recommended any VN to, their biggest "issue" is that they are long. I'd suggest you and she try True Remembrance. Small, not long, freely available, all-ages, and a great and touching story. Though I haven't read Planetarian, it seems something like this. Good luck! Unix Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 My first VN is Hoshizora no Memoria and I found out it is really great. I fall in love to VN after playing that VN. huntertr 1 Quote

Beato Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 I'm female and I can certainly try to find something for your friend, though obviously our tastes might be quite different. The most important thing to start out with though is: Does she like anime/manga already? Quote

I have had similar experiences where people believe the ones I recommend them take way too long to read. Quote
dannyboo Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 Clannad!! Great story and she can get used to the feeling of reading a visual novel along the way. Don't know her preferences though Quote
