Yumiko Sakaki route praise thread?

Sorry to say, but that's a load.  koestl, the translator that completed the Kajitsu fan TL patch and started on Meikyuu's, was hired by Manga Gamer to TL Ourai no Gahkthun.  Last I heard, Meikyuu was only 7% complete, but he said that he'd get back to it after he finished with Ourai no Gahkthun.

Well in the rumor mill it is said since Koestl was also approached by Sekai project to be part of the Grisaia no Kajitsu commercial translation, if Kajitsu does well enough Meikyuu will also be done by him as an official release. But as I said it's all but rumors and speculations.

You sure they are both Yumiko? The 1st one looks like a crossover with bakemonogatari and the 2nd one looks like Yukiko from persona 4.

Well I've never watched that but it is similar to Yukiko from P4 hence why I mentioned her.

Honestly, Yumiko's route was ironically the most realistic in some parts (dat jet chickened out) and i thought there was a lot more valid buildup on how they got so close together. It made up for the disappointment we know as Makina's route.Yumiko pics in here for days though, might run out of *insert famous tissue brand product placement here*

Makina's route overall was the second best, her route only disappointed in her "good" end which I have raged about a lot on how it ended. Otherwise, in my opinion, it was a great route only beaten by Amane's route. Note that I am speaking about routes and not characters.

Amane's route was quite the entertaining one, albeit my crotch was off limits for 3 days after finishing. I absolutely loved the plot................yup... definitely the plot.

there isn't anything wrong with it really they are just to enjoy yourself and you can choose to do that or simply not

The bullshit may be called but the truth may not change.

 

Nothing, it's just that the only reason they're really there is fanservice.  If, in rare cases, they're actually relevant to the plot, then they serve a dual purpose of providing fanservice and being relevant.  Otherwise it's just to titillate the readers.  It's kinda implied that they expect their fans to, well, service themselves to the fanservice.  That's why they let you view them again at any time, right?

 

Well it depends, for me H-scenes were never about fan service, they feel like the culmination of a relationship. I have talked about this before on the H-scenes thread that was around some months ago. So I've never viewed them out of their place in the story even though I know they most of the times are in the extras menu. They just don't appeal to me in that way.

Point taken but viewing it with realism as a basis we know that's how it works in the 3D world. I'm not saying I want the to 2D to be like the 3D, but it adds realism to that particular situation.

Just playing devil's advocate here.  Like I said, I don't disagree with you, but both sides of the argument have valid points.

 

Honestly, I kinda disliked Amane's h-scenes.  The whole fascination with pissing while having sex seriously grossed me out.  I got that it makes sense because Yuuji is a bit of a sadist, and Amane is most definitely a masochist, but still...euch.

 

That's technically what it is, right?  I mean, sure, it's censored, but it's still porn.

That was actually the writers' fetish and he wrote both Amane's and Makina's H-scenes(you can see the connection now). I get that both points are valid because that was actually a point Okami made on that thread when we were discussing it, so it's all good. But as the selfish human being I am I will always regard my POV as the right one  .
