Issue with Clannad

I am running Clannad through RLVM, and it starts the VN without a problem. Right before Tomoya encounters Nagisa, though, the game just freezes for no reason (when Tomoya is looking at the sky).

 

There is supposed to be this patch that fixes the issue, but I already downloaded it to no effect. i am thinking that perhaps I copied the files on the patch over to the Clannad folder wrongly, does that mean that I have to download the torrent all over again? (The patch works with the G00 files, and there are quite many of them).

Try playing it on another computer and see if it works, you'd know whether the problem lies with your computer or the file itself.
