Mr Poltroon Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Say, "I see... Well, unless either my boss or this fine lady want to sponsor this endeavour of mine, I'll have to ask for a way to acquire a rifle without buying it." (A loan would do, wouldn't it? As soon as I gave the rifle to her it would be out of my hands to repay the loan.) Quote

Mr Poltroon Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 (I'll need to make him forget about the rifle later) Give Pattern 1800 Infantry Rifle to Kanra and ask for info on the hideout. It's funny to see how the budget for the visual novel changes behind the scenes. From the sprites to the dialogue boxes. Also, Mikado seems to have a completely different personality from when we first met him. Quote

It's funny to see how the budget for the visual novel changes behind the scenes. From the sprites to the dialogue boxes. Also, Mikado seems to have a completely different personality from when we first met him. He's talking with people he's really close with. Anyway... you're getting nearer and nearer the end. Johannes' (Which is now Kanra's) hat has been mysteriously dyed instantly, and you proceed to give her the rifle. You feel like you want to hit her, but she has a rifle... and a hidden kodachi. Quote
Mr Poltroon Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 (Tricked? I got Johanne on my side now, and you're coming with us to the tower, if all goes to plan, you'll help us too. With this added help, it should be easy to raid the place, I'll get my money and pay for the rifle, and I'll also get the loot. I'd say I'm getting the better end of the deal by doing what you asked of me, if I had just stumbled in there blindly I doubt I would've managed much.) - The only reason I'm not telling her this is because with her lovely personality, she might just decide not to go after all. Say, "Oh, yes, it seems I was utterly tricked. Off we go, then." Quote
Aniki Posted August 5, 2014 Author Posted August 5, 2014 The only reason I'm not telling her this is because with her lovely personality, she might just decide not to go after all. She's there to increase your urge to just screw it and get the bad ending. Say, "Oh, yes, it seems I was utterly tricked. Off we go, then." Well, the game is going really fast. We'll slow it down. This is the part of the game where you're free to do anything until Saturday (ingame). It is currently Wednesday. Go find some heroines or something. Quote
Mr Poltroon Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 (Unbelievable, now I've got to wait for days...) "Well, since I'm currently broke, (I've been told some other personality of mine used up all the money) I'll be leaving for a while in search of some odd jobs for me to do". Leave the pub and look for work. Quote

Leave the pub and look for work. DAY: THURSDAY TIME: EVENING Looks like there are multiple jobs you can do. All of them give practically the same amount of money. Around 1000円. Work: Work at Donatsu-shi, Work at Kurosawa Armoury. Work at Airuranko. Criminal Activities: Steal Visit: Sengoku Manga Store, Toedo High School, Kawakami Brothel, Kabuki District, West Edo Pub (Kanra's Pub), West Edo Inn, Muromachi Inn. Quote
Fiddle Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Work at Donatsu-shi Because I'm hoping it's a doughnut place. -_- Quote
Mr Poltroon Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Seconded. Work at Donatsu-shi. This is terribly suspicious... Since when do you say anything sensible? Quote
phersu Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 All part of my master plot to get into Kanra's pants. Quote
Aniki Posted August 7, 2014 Author Posted August 7, 2014 Work at Donatsu-shi Because I'm hoping it's a doughnut place. -_- After borrowing a uniform from the staff, you began working. You were placed on counter duty. Only few customers entered. They were mostly from the Kanto Law Enforcement Constabulary carrying bulky swords and armour. A few moments later... a familiar face entered. The face a few of your multiple personalities hate. All part of my master plot to get into Kanra's pants. If you're going to do the Kanra route, this is your (only) chance. Nayleen 1 Quote
Mephisto Posted August 7, 2014 Posted August 7, 2014 One must be willing to do whatever it takes to achieve ones goals. What would you like to order? Quote
Aniki Posted August 7, 2014 Author Posted August 7, 2014 Oh boy. I don't think I need to say this, but you could go and attempt to kill Kanra. It'll either be her life or yours. Quote
Mr Poltroon Posted August 7, 2014 Posted August 7, 2014 "Do you like Chocolate? Here's a chocolate Donatsu." Give her a Donatsu with chocolate. (Please be aware that I'm assuming there actually is one of those things, since I'll be honest, I have no idea what this shop sells. Quote

(Please be aware that I'm assuming there actually is one of those things, since I'll be honest, I have no idea what this shop sells. The shop sells doughnuts. ドーナツ (Dōnatsu) is Japanese for doughnuts. 氏 (shi) is more or less equivalent to mister. Therefore, Donatsu-shi is Mister Donut. You give her a pack of chocolate doughnuts. She seems rather disappointed, but I don't think you care. She hands over 550円. Voices in your head are telling you to join her. Other voices are telling you it's a trap. Quote
Mr Poltroon Posted August 7, 2014 Posted August 7, 2014 "No way! What if they're poisoned!?" Explain two things. Why would we be selling poisoned donuts, and even if we weren't, how the heck did she insert poison without us noticing in less than 10 seconds? Say, "Yes, excuse my rudeness, I have this habit of fretting over the most ludicrous things." Take 1 doughnut. solidbatman 1 Quote
Aniki Posted August 7, 2014 Author Posted August 7, 2014 Say, "Yes, excuse my rudeness, I have this habit of fretting over the most ludicrous things." Take 1 doughnut. You took a doughnut and began eating. Kanra then ate one herself. The doughnut didn't taste anything special. In fact, it tasted like a mere combination of chocolate and bread. It was still better than just eating bread. You took one last bite on the doughnut. It was average, you thought. You looked over at Kanra, who had already eaten three doughnuts. She then broke the silence by asking a question. Quote
Mr Poltroon Posted August 7, 2014 Posted August 7, 2014 Say, "I was once a part of the Kurosawa Clan, before it fell to the Tokugawa." Totally improvising here, as you are well aware, we haven't been told much about the backstory of this bloody place. Quote
